Having sort of a craptastic start to the year, but had a happy moment at the gym today. The free weights area has mirrors on three sides, and as I was racking my dumbbells I saw the back of someone reflected in the mirror and thought... she has nice arms! Then I realized it was me. Sweet.

nice! first time hitting shoulders and back back in the gym today..it was full of the january newbies ( college guys of course)
I can see them watching me in the mirror without trying to because I am such an oddity
oops I mean because I am da awesome..so they watch me doing bent over rows
and the interest goes up as they watch me going and going til I hit 100 count

Saw her up close and personal (she walked by me it totally counts) last year and she is just fantastic IRL! Unlike some of the female bodybuilder competitors...doesn't matter how much lipstick they put on ::::shudder::::

LOL, hopefully in another month I won't still have to park in the last parking space, ten miles from the gym entrance. Loads of noobs right now, most seem to be zumba-ing though. The weight room is under the studios, so the ceiling shakes from the sheer number of them hopping up and down in unison. I like to lie back on the benches and admire the acoustic tiles bouncing.

Yeah kinds good point for me too. I like her crazy azz workouts but she's definitely getting...big. Won't say man-ish for fear of negs.

It's amazing what a difference shoulders make to the overall "look", mine have only recently decided to come out of hiding. Much though I hate to admit it, they seem to love the the endurance / high rep work I've been doing lately. Poop. They would like something I hate. Stupid shoulders.

Had a cheat day of peace today.... It was delicious and dangerous, but have no regrets, haven't had one in a long time. I realized again why i like eating clean; solidified my motivation to eat clean.

Just found out my brother and sister-in-law are having another boy! WOOHOO!! Another little guy to have Aunt Taiga wrapped around his little finger lol.

They are naming him after my brother's best friend and fellow scout sniper who was killed on their last deployment to Afghanistan. Little man will have some big boots to fill.
