stickers. awesome. imagine how much more ponies you'd had with a 3 ft spoiler. engine build sounds impressive. guessing you kicked the rev limit up a little with the lightweight rods and crank.

I just started swimming again and it's been pretty hard, but can feel the benefits. Running sucks, especially when it's windy.

knees shot, ankle sprained hiking in CO, so far t25 has been only moderately painful a couple times for those. can 'jog' (won't say run), elliptical. kickboxing is actually one of the best workouts i'm getting with least joint pain. doesn't even seem to bother shoulder so far. swimming is good until the shoulder gives up the ghost.

I love that feeling. It goes away after the first set.

I feel like running would be the most useful cardio so I want to do it but I can't get myself to do it. I'm as big as I need to be and I just want to get strong and fast now. I have no real reason but I feel like strength and speed would be most beneficial in the long run. I just don't know how to train for that.

It doesn't. It stays for the whole hour. At first it was a tingle, then felt itchy (inb4 Rthoe STD). Maybe it's fine at 8pm, but at 4:30am it was annoying.

This, it's like I can accomplish one or the other but I can't do both. I was making decent strength gains but once I started doing even just a few sets of cardio a week I started losing strength quickly.

You have to eat more if you want both.

I want to reach a level in my athleticism that my strength or agility will never keep me from doing something that I need to do.

Same here, at the time I was trying to cut down on some body fat but even now at 190 where I'm currently at I'm still not as low of a BF% as I want to be. Think I'm gonna have to go on about a solid 2 year bulk and put on quite a bit of mass. Or I could just do crossfit.....

I'm as big as I want to be but not as lean. I feel like I switch to only strength training without hypertrophy, I'll lose minimal if any size and by running, and other forms of cardio, I should be able to get very lean. I wouldn't care if I was only 180 lbs if I was shredded and I could be as athletic as I was 10 years ago.

    Sprint training.
You can do it without losing strength.
Last year i didn't do any cardio but sprint intervals for six months, ran a 5km race faster than i've ever run one while weighing 60 lb. more than when i was in running "shape".

Last year i didn't do any cardio but sprint intervals for six months, ran a 5km race faster than i've ever run one while weighing 60 lb. more than when i was in running "shape".

Best cardio IMO, is low impact kind that you can do on a regular basis and minimize joint stress/wear. Such as:

    - Car pushes or pulls
    - Farmer walks
    - High rep squatting
    - Cycling
    - Rowing

Although not "low impact" heavy bag training is pretty good cardio too if done occasionally.

That's actually what I'd love to do with some emphasis on footwork and jumping too. Sprints kill me and I need a good routine to follow.

The problem with "certain people" is that they think cardio has to be some long, drawn-out, bodyweight-only event. I like flipping a 300 lb. tire for sets of ten.

Yeah, sprinting in the winter is rough, I did it when I was a teenager, but it gets harder. I need to get a heavy bag for training.

High rep squatting with light weight is a good idea. I need to get a bike to ride. I also enjoy box jumps and jump roping.

That's how my cardio used to be, 30-40 boring minutes on the treadmill. Now when I do it I've been doing interval sprints for about 10-12 minutes and I'm good.

I wish I had somewhere for a heavy bag, my gym doesn't have one either and I'm not trying to be "that guy" shadow boxing in the back of the gym.

after heart surgery, i got way better cardio improvements doing interval work (run 30, walk 30) than trying to jog to another town or worse yet, get on a bike without a motor. to me it's way more efficient and i get better results in cardio and fat burning to do interval runs, swimming, kickboxing. i guess theoretically if you're lifting a certain way, that could even be 'cardio'.

I can hang one from my power rack.

I need a place to run sprints. I feel like a retard rubbing up and down the street about to pass out and I have no idea how far I'm running.
