Provided your bf % is low and all that jazz?
Cause most other muscles you need to train no more than 20 reps or so to get good growth. I know you can add resistance form sit ups but most people who do em crank out dozzens and dozzens, does this promote growth within the ab muscles?
If you trained the biceps at for example 70 reps you wouldn't get much growth, why would abs be different? Some people have pacs and do sort of 80-100 reps of sit ups.

First off..., not everyone's body is the same and responds to the same stimuli, that said. A lot of people i train grow from high rep/strict form. Ab's are like other muscle in that you need to add or increase resistance to grow or add thickness the muscle. Knowing this, your body responds/adapts to changes in exercise quickly. So a rotation of high/medium/low reps is best. This will in return shock your ab's on a consistant basis. And all the rep ranges go hand in hand. higher rep will give you the stamina to do the middle reps, which will give you the strenght to do the heavier reps. (middle and low need added resistance). Your abs and arms are different in how they will respond to stimuli also, your ab's are worked almost all day in everyday activity. They are responsible for most of your core strenght. And Many other exercises that you will preform in the gym your abs are a secondary muscle that contracts to put your body in the correct form. Your ab's are a smaller muscle group and can be work multiple times per week depending on how you feel. Your bi's on the other hand, will be affected differently in doing 70 reps. Besides this being overkill for this body part, you'd get a pump from this but growth? I don't think so... If you have any other questions give me a shout. I'll always try to help as much as possible.

youve got the right idea. weighted situps with enough resistance will provide growth.
and i agree with the person who mentioned v sits, those do work nicely.
ab wheel is good to, hanging leg raises, even front squats with a slight bend forward can engage the abs.
pick whatever exercise you like and just go for it.Wow your signature is so deep.
