What's "unheard of" is to post a thread like this with NO PICS.
    No brain, no gain.

This should be quoted for truth.

I've gained 30 pounds since August 2012, but that wasn't pure muscle. I fulked a bit and I will admit it.

    Pics or it didn't happen.

No idea. Seriously - does anyone have a clear idea of how much they gained their first year? :P

I gained like 50 pounds of mass. And I ended up like a fat fuk to be honest. How much was muscle? Seriously no idea. Maybe 20lb? Maybe 15lb? I imagine those numbers are reasonable for any novice.

Almost exactly 10 pounds with no increase in body fat (I was a 130 pound twig as a noob).

This was on a half-assed home-brew routine doing 45+ sets a day, 6 days a week, and eating totally wrong. I think I must have built that muscle out of little more than thin air and sheer determination. It sure wasn't from my training and nutrition "knowledge."

The first year, on a very stupid lifting program but at least having nutrition dialed in, still managed +6lb LBM, holding net BF relatively constant. The next year, with a better program + nutrition, +10lb LBM, net +2% BF. At a supposedly "non-hormonally-anabolic" age bracket (just slightly under 50)
