An egg contains about 6gms protein. This is approximately fifteen percentage of the daily suggested protein level for a grown-up. Eggs also contain Vitamins D, B and E, phosphorous and calcium. The calorie content of an egg is about 75.
This is what happens when the white is separated from the yolk. The egg yolk has 59 calories and the white has a protein content of 3.5gms. The yolk has around 5gms fat. The white has no fat content in it.Â* This is why egg whites are more nutritious than the yolk.
Egg yolk has cholesterol in it. Recently a research from a New York University showed that consumption of eggs increased the cholesterol level only in two out of five people.

I usually do 2 egg white and 1 whole egg, only reason I am doing it is for calorie control at this point. I see nothing that has me concerned with the cholesterol shat that I don't really believe. I have the good fortune not to waste my egg yokes I use the 2 yokes and mix them in with 2 other eggs and some milk cover them with some cheddar cheese and my kids have their favorite non sugar coated breakfast.

stop. If you knew what you were talking about, you would know that the nutrition is in the yolk. If you knew anything about cholesterol you would know if you take in enough, then your body has to make less. You eat whites due to a calorie budget, not because they are more nutritious than whole eggs.
