My opinion is stick with the Gym. You need to be around other people of every different kind of level. You have enough days to do a split routine,
    without overtraining.

Just put yourself on an ABA or full body program. Two 2 to 3 times a week is enough to see decent progress.

Instead of days of the week, plan your workouts in terms of days within a program. Your schedule is fine, and has a pattern; staring on Monday, which is Day 1, you have three pairs of back-to-back workouts within a fourteen day cycle.

    Day 01 - Resistance
    Day 02 - Resistance
    Day 03 - off
    Day 04 - off
    Day 05 - Resistance
    Day 06 - Resistance
    Day 07 - off
    Day 08 - off
    Day 09 - off
    Day 10 - Resistance
    Day 11 - Resistance
    Day 12 - off
    Day 13 - off
    Day 14 - off
Hums the theme to Superman during planks and LYTPs. Now that you've read this, you will too.

All right boys, now watch how this is done. The key is to put it all in your groin and your back.
Take your legs totally out of the equation. Lift with your lower back in a jerking, twisting motion.

Have you considered both? Why does it have to be either or?
