That guy seemed sound. I reckon he did that to get on youtube and show all his mates. Sol is the best on every vid. And im now convinced that the camera guy is just there to laugh at genova, provoke him into saying stupid things and make some funny vids that get views. Same with the rest of the gym. Genova is the gym jester that everyone bow accepts and play along. Its a joke to everyone except him. And i have bo problem with that, its funny.

If you mean the majority of misc'rs have mental disabilities/handicaps...then i agree. If not, then I disagree. I give the kid a lot of credit but there's underlying issues. It really pains me to watch the videos of him knowing people are laughing at his expense.

Especially the video with the guy "Big Richard". I would LOVE to go to his gym and call that guy a big pu$$y. He's a real tough guy picking on a kid with a disability.

Yeah JG may have talked sh*t about the guy Saul. I walk into the D&D every morning and there's a guy similar to Jason Genova who tells me "Watch it buddy!" every day lol. I don't go up to him and threaten him. The guy sits there because he has no one to care for him and wanders around town all day.

I think this video is a perfect example of showing how to identify social intelligence. Someone with low social intelligence getting absolutely schooled by everyone around him, whilst not having a clue that it's happening. It's kinda sad tbh but then Jason does deserve it at times.

I'd never make fun of a disabled person and that was not my notion, HOWEVER just because you're disabled doesn't mean you can't troll, and JG trolls. That was simply my point.

I didn't say you would. I am just saying, everyone looks at his vid like its just some stupid delusional loser. I don't think he MEANS to troll. You gotta remember, mentally disabled people see things completely differently. What comes across to us as trolling is just his reality.

You can tell by his voice. It's just...not right. I've met "weird" people. Like those eccentric dudes at the gym that are delusional and just plain weird.

JG has something wrong with him. His eyes don't look right and the way he talks is just off. There's a kid at my gym EXACTLY like him. Only difference, he's Asian. Talks with that kind of monotone slur, yells during sets, always chatting up the big guys. Shame. Dudes gave him a hard time at one point. I ended up stepping in because I got heated. Actually made a thread about it on the misc. Been out of the gym for a while due to surgery so i haven't seen him.

But yeah...he's definitely got some "issues" in the developmental department.

Why are you guys still debating the whole "is JG retarded" thing after all this time? It's pretty obvious that he isn't 100% "there" so to speak. But does he hurt anyone? No. Can he drive a car? Yes. Does he function in society? Yes.

On the ethics of watching JG videos: JG loves doing these videos, bodybuilding, and having a following. Imagine his life without all this. He'd be WAAAY depressed and going through life with nothing but negativity without it. And he entertains THOUSANDS with his youtube channel. Just go through the comments on the youtube videos or read some misc threads on him. People LOVE this damn show (I do too). It's like a damn sitcom but real! Saul, Big Richard, JG, Andrew, the whole Delray fitness crew; it's MASSIVELY entertaining for a lot of people and it's positive for JG too. It's nothing but win/win, yet some people still manage to sneak some ****ing "lose" in there by saying "herp derp don't watch this he is retarded and you are making fun of him". No, you are making fun of him by saying that.

I also feel the need to mention Andrew (the camera man) in threads about JG where people think that Andrew is exploiting Jason somehow. Oh the ignorance and lack of respect. Andrew offers up his own free time to film AND edit these videos for us. Do you know what he gets in return? NOTHING. He doesn't get the youtube money, Jason does.

The only reason he nearly died when PJ trained him is because that guy made him go beyond what he usually does, which usually consists of one warm up set followed by one set thats too heavy for him.
