Question about simple carbs and insulin spikes (Thanks)

Hey guys, im on my cut right now and my girlfriend and i and her friends are going to apple bees. Now im in the mood for a burger and fries (burger on wheat) because today is my carb load day and cheat day. Now i fear the 500 calorie serving of fries (50 grams carbs) will cause a bad insulin spike making fat anabolic. What do you guys think? Is it ok for me to eat these fries and burger without worrying about it effecting my cut? The meal total is around 1.5k calories, I made room for it in my calories for today.

    Im 6ft 195 10 percent bf
    Goal is: 6-7 percent bf.

    Thoughts please

As long as you nclude it into your macros you will be fine, don't fret over little things that don't matter.

Protein can increase insulin secretion more than some carbs. Are you scared now?

By the way, what do you define as an insulin spike, in pmol/L?

Honeslt i dont know wonderpug, im just scared that eating the fries will be detrimental to my fat loss. My goal is to get shredded, but i fear the white starches in fries will make my blood sugar raise and turn to glucose then fat.

    Poor misguided fool.

Read the stickies and your life will improve dramatically. You are so much likelier to fall off the wagon living a restrictive lifestyle.

I suggest you read the stickies OP. Your thoughts on "Simple carbohydrates and Insulin Spikes" are very misguided.
On another note, why are you being so strict with your diet? Your already at a low BF% are you planning on competing in the future?

Everything you eat causes an insulin spike. No reason to worry about simple carbs. Just don't go over your calorie limit and hit the proper macros.
