Quest White Chocolate Raspberry Bars

First and foremost I need to extend a huge thanks to AFDave and Quest Nutrition for sending me a couple bars of their newest flavor bars. I have to admit that I wasn't too thrilled when I heard that the new flavor was White Chocolate Raspberry since I am not much of a white chocolate fan. Dave is a stand up guy and decided to send me the bars after I told him I was very skeptical.





I love the new sample packaging. Cool box and cool wrappers that make the bars a mystery right up until you open them,





The bars had been in my mail box in 95 degree heat, so they were soft and slightly melted. I will store the other bar at room temperature for a couple days to see what the normal texture is, but this bar was very soft and moist.

You can see bits of berry as well as small chunks of white chocolate in the picture.

This flavor tasted much better than I thought. I can't place the familiarity of the flavor, but it has strong tastes of berries, nuts and some bites that had more of a white chocolate flavor. On the whole, the bar reminded me more of Raspberry cheesecake than anything else. This is not a complaint.

If the texture holds, I can see myself buying more of these. After all, I have to have something besides Quest CCCD bars once in a while. I would rank this bar right up there with the Banana Nut bar in my top 3 or 4 bars along with the CCCD bars and Cinnamon Roll flavor. It is definitely worth checking out.

Macros I assume will be very similar to every other Quest bar - 20g PRO, 6g FAT, 17g Fiber, and 5g Net CHO

i love CCCD and Apple pie - sorry but i dont think any of the other flavors can compare to those.

i also love white chocolate - especially the Hershey's cookies n creme - so this white chocolate is very, very appealing...

Whats your top 5 after trying this? Cracked mine today and i have to say its close to a top 5 or a tie for top 5. I give the upper hand to apple pie for fruit flavored bar (that was my favorite), CCCD, Chocolate Brownie, Cinnamon Roll, and Banana Nut above it. But that white chocolate is superb.
