Is the personal trainer I talked to full of BS

I'm 19 years old, weigh 165 pounds, with a rough 11-12% body fat.

I'm on the following stack:

HMB
Glutamine
Creatine
Protein (all types)
ZMA
GABA
Multivitamin
Xenadrine

Question:
I'm in college and I have a three month window to get ready for the spring.

If I want to maintain a weight of roughly 165 and cut my body fat percentage down to around 7-9% is it possible within 3-4 months?

yeah its definately possible... cutting isnt very hard..should be really easy with xenadrine.. so you'll be able to drop the lbs relatively quick.. if yuo want a good diet, try a cyclible ketogenic diet . if you have any questions on it ask Dorian, he's an expert.
As for mainiting your weight at around 165, i think the creatine would help and so would the protein. just make sure you train hard and get a lot of sleep

I have no experience sub 10% bodyfat. I'm told it gets more difficult.

That said, assuming 165lbs and 12% bodyfat, you have 19.8 lbs of fat on your body now.

To get to 8% bodyfat, you'll need to lose 9-10 pounds assuming you can keep a 70%-80% fat loss ratio.

10lbs for me in 3 months is no problem, but I'm up at 17%-18% bodyfat.

I would stretch it out to 3 months which gives you 13 weeks to work with.

Good luck!

it's possible but not likely with an attitude that says a stack is going to get you there.

firstly: eat a 700-1000 calorie deficit. this will be VERY hard to do at your level.

secondly: do lots, and LOTS of cardio. at least 30mins a day. if you miss a day, do 60mins the next.

thirdly: bulking. after the first month or two, switch to bulking. most people think this means they can eat what they want. wrong. eat a 500 calorie surplus everyday. 40%-50% of your diet should be protein. ALWAYS have a source of simple sugars after you workout. and ALWAYS eat something an hour or so before you work out.

do not stop doing cardio while bulking. keep a healthy heart.

stay determined and you will excel!

If you think the ISSA trainer program entails learning "so much," then I'm not sure if you are fully educated in this field thus far and you seem to think you are. Not that its a bad program, just that many people do a personal training certification and then think they are experts. The information in the course is basically bare bones, essential information to know (that is skewered by the opinions of the organization), far from advanced knowledge. For the record, I haven't been certified by the ISSA, but have read their textbook (not bad, but you don't become an expert by learning that material).

Ok, Smart man . i don't know if one of those school sent you to diss ISSA but for the record one thing you have to learn. When you go to school you don't fully relly on the school to make a genuis if you do not research or read yo u will have limited brain. Before i became a peasonal trainer , i was already a bodybuilder so when i say something i know exactly what i'm talking about.
when you read a diet plan in any magazine r there and you try to proceed that plan. the different between me and the rest it's because i know what nutrition is about and a progressive program for somebody to acheive the goals no matter who that person is.
If you think you can tap this . feel free whatever question that you have .
