Oh, and tomorrow night is Chicken Chili:

1 cup(s) dried pinto beans, rinsed
    1 jar(s) (11 ounces) mild or medium salsa (1 1/2 cups)
2 tablespoon(s) chopped canned chipotle chiles in adobo sauce (in the Mexican aisle at No Frills)
    2 tablespoon(s) all-purpose flour
    1 1/2 pound(s) boneless, skinless chicken thighs (about 8)
    Coarse salt and ground pepper
    1 medium red onion, chopped
1 red bell pepper (ribs and seeds removed), chopped
    1/4 cup(s) reduced-fat sour cream, for serving
1/4 cup(s) chopped fresh cilantro, for serving

    Directions

    1. In a 5- to 6-quart slow cooker, stir together beans, salsa, chiles, flour, and 1 cup water. Season chicken with salt and pepper; arrange on top of bean mixture. Scatter onion and bell pepper on top of chicken.

    2. Cover and cook on low heat for 8 hours. (Do not open lid or stir.)

    3. Remove chicken from stew; shred into large pieces and return to stew. Serve topped with sour cream and cilantro.

So since I'm not eating refined carbs this is what I made tonight. Pretty good

Marinate 1 chicken breast in 1 tbsp on olive oil and 1 tbsp of low sodium soy sauce. Chop some ginger and add to marinade.

    Let sit.

    Grill.

Slice chicken. Put slices onto iceberg lettuce leaves. Add snap peas. Sprinkle with some cashews and sprinkle with sesame seeds. Wrap and eat.

You're welcome! It's Jamie Eason's recipe. We love them. I sometimes make a big batch on a Sunday and we each take a couple for lunch all week. I did find them a smidge dry, and so I put a couple spoonfuls of crushed tomatoes on top. Delicious!

And I gave the recipe to my friend and her kids love them too.

Anyway I am making a high protein version of mac and cheese
with barilla Plus pasta which has 17gr of proteins per 100gr of pasta
for 1lb of pasta I used 9oz more or less of sharp Cabot aged cheddar 6 slices of american cheese , 60gr of reggiano
and 4oz of generic cheddar, milk and butter

eaten with a couple of grilled pork chops should kick it near the 70-80gr of proteins for my meal

    sorry for the blurriness

Yum - Mac and Cheese looks delish!

Here's a couple more ideas from me:

Thai Prawn Salad. This is so simple and the dressing is really tasty - basically just lime juice, soy sauce, rice vinegar, garlic, chilli and pepper.

    Haloumi and Eggplant Bake

    Quinoa mixed with Roasted Vegetables

Yeah, it seems like it would be better served on a leaf w/a twig or two as garnish lol.

I've had crickets. Not bad- kind of crunchy. I've also eaten ants that were added to a lovely salsa. Only problem: the legs got caught in my gums. Also not bad.

but larva--I am not convinced...Were they squishy?

No, they weren't squishy. Like I said before, it didn't taste or feel anything different than eating a normal taco.
