Guy's, what do you think I should do:
I go in for blood draw on January 2nd to test for thyroid hormones and testosterone. I didn't tell the doctor that I'm currently in a caloric deficit and neither did he ask.
Should I eat maintenance until then to give the most accurate results? I know that sounds like an excuse just to stop cutting, lol, but I don't want my hormones to read all out of whack because of a caloric deficit.
Then again 2 weeks to bring hormone levels up is most likely not enough(brb need 6 months), but I'm thinking of doing it anyways just so I have the least possible chance of focking up the results.

When I went for my last blood draw in the last week of September they just told me to be sure I fasted for 12 hours. That was no problem because I was doing IF. I didn't mention that I was cutting at the time, my numbers were fine, granted I did not take a close look at my test numbers and such.
If you are concerned about it, which I know you are, just ask your doctor. Give him/her a brief description of what you're doing calories/macros wise and ask what they recommend.US Coast Guard ~ SEMPER PARATUS

The chick at the front desk told me to fast for 6-8 hours(strong retard). I asked what's too long and said 15 hours? She said "Oh that's much too long, 8 hours max."
Almost raged. Never in my life have I heard of an 8 hour max, maybe 8 hour minimum...
I really don't want to though because it's focking with my goals. I'm just now getting back to the leanest I've ever been and about to do maintenance again for a few weeks... While the foods nice, I'll be getting nowhere... :|

I want to know if I have a permanent messed up condition that would negatively effect my hard work put in the gym.
Edit: Actually also because I feel pretty down most of the time.
I also want to further broaden my education so I have good career opportunities outside of investments.

I would talk to the doc before changing your diet arbitrarily. Focus on your goal, if your goal is to continue to lose weight, then continue to lose weight. Use whatever you find out from the blood tests as guidance, but I wouldn't go changing everything just because you're going to have a blood draw in a couple of weeks.US Coast Guard ~ SEMPER PARATUS
