    Glutamic acid & Glutamine precursors

    Im comparing the nutritional values between 100% Gold standard and muscle gauge protien.


    is glutamic acid and glutamine precursors the same thing?

    I'd imagine that they are using the two synonymously based upon the amount listed, but 'glutamine precursors' technically can encompass more since even BCAA catabolism can be a precursor to glutamine. Referring to it as a glutamine precursor is misleading too since dietary glutamate can be metabolized towards other things. They should just call it what it is and leave it at that
