Deadlifts (conventional, no belt)
405x10
Meh.
Skipped the kettlebell work to let my body heal up a little bit for Thursday. I'll do a brutal kettlebell workout on Friday then on Saturday I'll be at an APF meet watching my boy ChecksandGiggles.
Oh, and my gym is getting rid of two smith machines and tentatively putting in something called "The Rig"........is this real life?
It's easy to lose weight when you stop acting like a fat fuk. I see such nonsense at work everyday. People who have pop and donuts or McDonalds for their breaks and are as lazy as they can be when it comes to their job. Then they go home and do nothing all day.

I really do have a hard time restricting carb intake, it's just that I need so many calories that I can eat whatever. There is rarely a situation that I need to diet especially since 181 is a thing of the past, and I don't plan on slicing up for a bbing show anytime soon.
My diet has an extreme lack of discipline for the most part, at least lately. It's not like I eat HORRIBLY, but it's a lot of processed stuff.
Seriously, since I woke up I've had about a half gallon of 2% milk, 2 sausage/egg/cheese biscuits, and 2 sausage/egg/cheese Hot Pockets. Not exactly the cleanest of diets.
True that, though it takes more than an hour for me to feel better after a workout sometimes lol.

squatting 80% of my max for 20 reps is harder than not eating a slice a pizza if I am hungry.
The 2 aren't even comparable imo.
Thats not what I meant.
I meant hard in the sense of having the will power not to eat a sandwich if you want it, but you see a benefit to not eating it.
You don't have a clean diet because having a "clean" diet is silly broscience.

I'd never squat 80% for 20 reps so I can't relate there. But whatever is working for you cause your squat is pretty good for a 165 or 181.
I have the willpower to say I'm not eating a piece of pizza. I just meant in general, when I restrict carbs or something to cut weight I usually feel like **** around the clock as opposed to a short period of time while squatting.

Not the day I was hoping for but it went alright. Haven't been keeping up on my hydration so that is just retarded on my part. It was also a weird time for me to lift so that affected things since I was so tired. Whatever.
Squatting got difficult because the bar was so whippy. I also forgot to drive my elbows under on the 545x2 set so that made things more difficult. Still a PR though. Also strained my left calf so I must have been doing something goofy. Need to start doing shrugs again, my squats felt so much better when I was shrugging 2x week. I am collapsing more than usual lately.
Benching was just dumb. I got distracted talking to my buddy and the gym owner, when I really need to get my "attitude" ready for benching. That's why I usually listen to Limp Bizkit or Korn while I bench lol. I stalled halfway up on the 2nd rep. My triceps need more work. I am strong off my chest right now but I struggle at lockout. Back to doing more JM presses for sure. Those have to be the best thing I have ever done for my bench.
I'll get the video up tomorrow since I am so exhausted right now. I haven't even watched any of my lifts yet.
Also lifted with another MN powerlifter who wanted to get his squat up, his best squat ever is 407@220 in competition with a 365x2 gym lift, and today he did 365x5x4 after some form work. That was a lot of fun. I'm gonna start lifting at a powerlifting gym with him every couple weeks since it's only about a 40 minute drive and I can get some work in on a Forza and actually be able to practice my sumo deadlift more often.
