Yup, they can hem the bottom of the shirt (think it's officially called "darting"?) to bring it in around the bottom/waist so it doesn't balloon when you tuck into your pants. Price really depends on the tailor, some charge a lot, some don't. Luckily in NYC there's a tailor every other store, so search around until you find one you trust/good price. Try checking out yelp for your city, lotta people review this stuff.
Shouldn't be an issue at a tailor, if you want to go from a "bootcut" style at the bottom to a straight leg or just tighter in general on the opening. I'd bring a pair of jeans that you think fit really well and tell the tailor you want your new pair to fit like this.

Quick question for you raw denim experts... I recently bought the slim tapered ones from Urban Outfitters and was wondering will these things loosen up in the quad area? Its my first time buying raw denim and I just got them today so I've only been wearing them for about 7 or so hours but god damn the quad area is tight. Could barley button them up at first but the waist definitely stretched a bit so I'm not too concerned about that its just **** its tight around my thighs.

What I wore today, went coat shopping and got a new one (not the one I'm wearing) for cheap. Needed something a lot warmer.
The pose and my posture make my shirt and jacket look too long. They're a perfect fit when I stand straight up.

Most people size TTS or +1 for skinny guys depending on your body type/desired fit
For weird guys -1 or -2 is common, I like the weird guy better because its got more room in the thigh
The measurements are strange and can vary from pair to pair even in the same cut, check out http://blueowl.us/ for accurate measurementsLast edited by alex9090; 01-16-2012 at 08:06 PM.

I have 2 pairs of Weird Guys. Most people size down 2 from true waist but I size down more like 3. Tagged size 28 and I think my true waist is closer to 31. The waist is a bitch for a few days that way but they end up perfectly for me.
So 2-3 down for Weird Guys. 1 can work too depending on the fit you want. Just check size charts and keep in mind they'll stretch. But not insane amounts like APC.
Skinny Guy definitely needs to be 1 up at least from Weird Guy size. I've tried on 28's and couldn't even begin to get them on. They seem to look good on really really stick skinny people..they sometimes get a little ankle flare it seems which looks gay imo.

Got a couple shirts and of course a pic of my Clarks DB's, love those things.
I'm not sure how I feel about the white shirt (needs to be tailored like whoa) or the buttons on the gray/black.

I've been unsuccessful on finding a Size 10 U.S. of Calvin Klein Warren Suede Dark Charcoal.
Went to Macy's last weekend and as soon as i saw them, i asked the sales guy i need a size 10. Of course, all they had was a 8 and a 13 and no other stores in the state carries them. Also checked Macy's website along with multiple third party...the quest continues. FUARRRKKK!!!

Currently on a cut and everything fits like sh*t. I need a size between Medium and Small in almost all of my tops (sweaters, shirts etc).
Also, I'm looking to buy some more Dockers Alpha Khakis but their website is slowly losing variety and I can't find them in department stores. What's going on; are they being discontinued or something? See for yourself: http://us.dockers.com/search/index.j...&kwCatId=&pg=1
I know that when I bought my last pair (Black Firday) there was this an awesome dark green one. That's gone. And recently I noticed that the orange colored one, Burnt Orange, dissappeared as well.Last edited by 01111000; 01-16-2012 at 10:59 PM.

Lol, I'm a bit over 5'10" so that won't work. Small is too small in the arms and short on my torso whereas medium is too billowy and sometimes too long (which looks odd with slim fitting jeans). Certain shirts fit awesome, like Express 1MX shirts but are too dressy for casual wear.
I emailed Docker's support with my concerns (read above post). They should respond within a day.__________________
