Looking to lose fat and build lean muscle, NOT add bulk. What is the best protein for this? Currently using PVL Whey Gourmet.

I like Optimum's Whey (Strawberry) and Optimum's Casein (Vanilla). I can then go with straight whey or casein or if I want I can then create my own blend (1 scoop of each).

You can never go wrong with Optimum Nutrition's Whey and Casein protein. If you get both of them, you can then create your own blend and they then individually last longer.

Whether you add bulk or not is a result of your overall nutrition, not the protein powder you choose. I recommend you track your diet using a tool like www.fitday.com so that you can adjust your macros and calories accordingly.

syntha-6 imo
DONT TAKE ANY SHAKES pre/post sleep
take a shake of syntha-6 pre workout and post workout you can take syntha-6 or Ultra Peptide 2.0 CPB
In my experiance, the fat and carbs in syntha-6 is great for post and pre workout because your body is in exercise/consumption mode (meaning the fat and carbs turns into energy, not fat) and they both are good proteins from my experiance for rippin lean muscle gains while traning below your MAINT calories (meaning you burn fat because you are eating less than your maint calories)
also nutrition is important so take enerfood!
my only supps I take are enerfood, ultra-cheap-multi-vitamin, syntha-6 (1 scoop pre workout), ultra peptide 2.0 CPB (1 scoop post workout)

I started at 6'0 and 137 lbs about 3 years ago. I've tried just about anything legal (no PH's, AAS, etc.)
I've used ON, Nectar, GNC Whey, High 5 (M Max).. but the one I've used that seems to work the best for ME is Syntha-6. I changed to it about 5 months ago and I love every single flavor. I've seen the most consistent "gains" since then and it's all I use during the day now (No Whey standalone). I use Ultra Peptide before bed. I'm now 6'0, 180 and 13.4% BF.
