I love it. Very convenient and taste is pretty good. I like it beter than tuna. I usually go with fat free mayo and put it on bread. Or you could just eat it straight from the can.

It's close to tuna on the healthy scale. Look up nutrition facts. I get mine from Costco it's a much better price than grocery store.

I make mine just like I would tuna. You could also drain it well, mix it up with some ceasar dressing and throw it in a salad.

My guess would be that it's the same as fresh chicken breast, with much more sodium.

I actually agree with this. Besides the sodium, the nutritional value of this is actually pretty good. And yes, it tastes much better than tuna imo. I remember I posted a thread on this a while ago, and it didn't seem to popular, but imo, its good.

Also check out canned turkey. Convenient, and also very good.
"Yes, it has sodium in it-230mg per serving and a can is 2 servings. But otherwise its really low in fat, 1g per serving, and high in protein, 13g per serving. And it tastes really good. Its a good mix up for me from the chunk light tuna."(From a post that I made in a thread before)

Mix both with fat free mayo just as the guy above stated, and its delicious.

    Hope this helps

I love it. A great snack for both the road and home alike. The only thing I hate about it is the sodium levels some of the manufactures use. If you check the labels some of them are low and some are high. A whole, natural, grilled breast is better but lets face it, it's not always an option. Eat away!

Yeah, much different taste. I'm not a huge fan of tuna either, starting to like it though. I made a thread not too long ago asking people how they eat their tuna, cause it gets real old real fast to me. Maybe check out that thread.

I hate canned tuna too. Have you tried the Smart Balance Omega mayo substitute? I put just a touch in there and mix it up and its so much better.

yea canned tuna just seems grose to me for some reason. Now dont get me wrong I loved the tuna sandwiches mom would make when I was little but I guess that I just never grasped what it really was and now any canned fish seems grose. lol. might as well eat sardines. I have tried those too and could only eat them to save my life.

Much of the sodium can be removed by spilling the liquid and rinsing it with water.

Yeah, it's gross out of the can. I have to cook it in something else to make it palatable.
