Insanity fat loss - 10 day results

    Hey all...

As I mentioned a few weeks ago I would start Insanity after vacation was over.

These are my ten day in pics. I was going to take pics every other day but decided against it because it may seem discouraging.

My workout is standard insanity using a heart rate monitor to see how intense the workouts are (I get up to 95% if max hr and do most of the workouts at 80% or more)

Diet is not their program as it calls for 2700 calories for fat loss for me. I want faster results. I started very low at 1400 calories but over 14 days as the workouts become more intense I've upped it to around 1800-2000. Over 150g protein to prevent fat loss as much as I can and limiting carbs to 150-200g per day with Sunday the off day a refueling day. Only real foods. Nothing refined.

    Here are the pics:
[i]SINCE BB DOESN'T ALLOW LINKS FOR UNDER 30 POSTS PLS JUST COPY AND PASTE, remove the space between the h AND t at the front...

I honestly cannot see any difference. In your pictures it looks like you have different postures. First one you look slouched and last looks like much better posture. Hard to tell but its only been 10 days. Keep it up!

Dunno but I really didn't "suck it in"... The front views tell the tale better IMO. But I can fit into a size 31 jean which I like. I can fit. It's tight but I couldn't fit a month ago lol.

I should have mentioned the scale. Started at 185, went to 180... Lots of water I know but my diet is higher in sodium I'm afraid.

    Keep it up!

I started yesterday with fit test. Kicked my butt. Calves were sore even though I been running for months now. I am trying real hard to stick to the diet they outlined and taking plenty of protein since I am lifting and doing insanity in the early morning. We shall see how it goes.

not much in the way of 'insanity' there for fat loss. you look like you carb depleted for 10 days and lost some water weight with maybe some fat and muscle.

You can fit into 31 jeans?
Not to bee offensive, but I don't carry nearly as much fat as you do.. and you can fit into a 31 jean size.

That's what I wear! And it's been getting tight on me since I started bulking... ugh, I guess I'll never have a nice V shape unless my back gets hyooooge.

I don't see any difference either because 5 lbs is not enough to see difference. I have a picture of myself at 153 lb and another one at 165, no freaking thing changed according to the picture.

But it doesn't matter for now, I encourage you to lose more weight at the this rate and forget the mirror.

    yep. i agree.
i jumped the gun with taking photos too often. the scale barely moved once i started lifting with the cardio, but my clothing fits me so much better and a few people have given me compliments, so small victories every few weeks mean progress ;-)

The program is called insanity and you took off over 1000 calories for the recommended diet?
    Spike92 is 15.
^ place this in your sig to remind the world that Spike92 is indeed 15 and will never be anything other than 15.

Not entirely true. I have lost 3 lbs and it made a good bit of difference. But I have a greater amount muscle than him. On topic, heading in the right direction but a weight routine is needed...
