So yesterday 7/12/12 I hit Legs, like a CHAMP! Hardest leg workout I have had in a while.
The important things I did were a Leg Press Pyramid and did my first Front Squats ever.
On Leg Press I did...180x10, 270x10, 360x10, 270x10, 180x10...needless to say I couldn't walk after.
I am going to start doing Front Squats though, I want to develop my Quads more and my Hammies and Butt are big enough...only way to do that is Front Squats....like my idol Layne Norton.
BTW, guess what came in the mail!!!

Hit Lats HARD today, Bi's not so much, I tried to focus on getting a rich burn through my back, and my Bi's were burning a bit from those lifts.
HoWs were
Modified T Bar Rows Pyramid 45x10, 90x10, 135x10, 215x2, 180x4, 135x5, 90x10, 45x20
Seratus Lat Pulldown (Close Grip, moving only at the top of the movement to get the stretch) Full Rack
PR 25 Chins
PR 10 35lb Weighted Chins
So, I would like to go on a different topic for a second, I don't really care who sees this, or who doesn't see this. But here is something that I would like to put out there. About 10 months ago, I stopped playing hockey mainly because my dad decided to pull the plug and not help to pay for my dream. Needless to say our relationship now is a lot different. But more important than that is this, over the last 10 months I have been trying to understand what life means and what my purpose is. After all this time I have come up with a lot of wisdom,
What people think of you only matters in situations where they don't know you well enough to take you as you are.
Anything you want in this lifetime, you gotta make it happen. Taking handouts is great when it happens, but you gotta work your butt off to that point to make it happen.
The MAIN thing that matters in life is what makes you happy. Do it, whatever it takes.
Haters are the greatest asset in the world, 100% untapped inspiration.
Live life, no regrets, don't ever wonder what if.Caz Smash

Took today off, but I am dropping my caloric intake to 1500cals. This entire week is going to turn into a Deload somewhat. If I wake up on some of the days and feel good, then I will do HIIT or light lifting, but my joints and nervous system need it. My resting HR has been jacked each morning...which tells me my body is in overdrive to repair itself. I went swimming and will all this week to work on my flexibility and to get something going, but nothing hard, just having fun and staying active.
Took 6 HEAT today, so hopefully going to make so serious fat losses this week also.Caz Smash

This week is all HIIT and relaxing. I already think I am doing better, I went to the gym today for a deload workout and 15 minutes of HIIT. Nothing special on the workout, just light Bench, Chins, Lat PD, Rows, and Dips. But that HIIT kicked my butt. Definitely going to take the day off again tomorrow. Going to try for 1500cals again today.
Yeah, I know that if I only have 1500 cals/day I am probably going to recover slower, but it is a CLEAN 1500, something around 150-200g of protein too, only 5% 'junk', if that. And since I am doing every other day and doing little or nothing on the off days, I think I will recover nicely and loose some ell bee's. Weighed in at 183 today. So definitely bouncing in weight...but more cut and bigger each day. Gonna take some pix this weekend, as I do every month around the 20th. And then again at this time in August. I'll post the B&As from June, July, to August, should be epic.
ON A MISSION!Caz Smash

Took the day off again today. It feels crappy to sit and not do anything, but I know my body needs it, and the shoulder feels better and better everyday. HIIT and lots of PT work tomorrow.
Lower abs are coming in, which is new, never had that in my entire life.
After looking at some old B&A pix, I need to start focusing on some body parts more than others. Shoulders, Quads, and Lats definitely. Maybe forearms too.Caz Smash

HIIT and PT Work today (7/20/12). Hit it hard on HIIT. But, only 10 minutes because I am going to hit it again tomorrow too.
It was SO good to do PT work, I felt so good. It was a big smack in the face that I need to get back to doing it consistently.
At a lot today unfortunately, roughly 3000calories, but I also probably burned most of it off, and like 225g/900 calories of it was Protein.
Feeling very healthy right now, much better than last weekend where I was sore, tired, and hurting. Body definitely enjoying the rest. Weighed in at ~182 today, post meal.Caz Smash

Did another PT set today. Not a lot, but 15minutes, feels so good to stretch things out and just work the tiny muscles.
Did ~13minutes of HIIT also, then 20minutes of sauna and laid out at the pool for some good ole Vitamin D and lots of butterfly swimming to stretch out my chest and shoulders.
My shoulder hurts right now, but hopefully I will be able to start back to Hypertrophy next week.
I will be heading out of town to see family on Tuesday, but hopefully I will only take Tuesday off and be able to go to a gym out there. If not, I'll just end up deloading more and do more HIIT and hardcore cut and do body weight workouts.Caz Smash

So, drove all day yesterday so had the day off but kept my cals down.
Hit a local gym today, was cool going and not knowing anything about the gym, where anything is, or anyone. Still hit shrugs, deads, and lats.
PR'd my dead lift, 315x5, which was after 275x12x2. So i think 315x7 next time should be too much to ask. Just snapping PR's like a champ, no biggie. Probably not going to the gym again until Friday or Saturday.Last edited by TheCaz; 07-27-2012 at 08:16 AM.

Took Thursday off, or more or less I don't have a gym to go to. But, honestly, I don't need to kill my body right now on vacation.
But definitely going to do some HIIT today and/or hit the gym if I can get to one. Otherwise definitely gym tomorrow. Thinking Quads, Shoulders, and Grip (forearms) (weakpoint day).
Gonna rip it up next week back at my home gym.
Not uploading this because of my back, check out the right side. Gettin scoped out! lolLast edited by TheCaz; 07-27-2012 at 08:50 AM.

So, 7/27 did some mild HIIT outside, and 100 some odd pushups along with some other body weight training. Nothing killer, just enough to get a sweat as I couldn't get to a gym.
Then today 7/28, I got to a gym, which was $20...yeah...for one session. Unreal. Anyway it shoulders, quads, calves, forearms, and 20mins of HIIT. PR'd on DB military press with 60x8, and I could've easily gone for 10 I think. Can't wait to hit that again. Couldn't weigh in.
Driving back to Michigan tomorrow.....with a new car! Bought a 1998 v6 camaro. In great condition too.
Pumped to hit the gym on Monday. I am going to do 2 cycles (2 bench days, 2 squat days, 2 dead lift/lat days) of power lifting. Starting Monday until hopefully the next Monday, then 2 weeks of hardcore cut mode and hypertrophy.Caz Smash

BUSTIN PRs!!! BOOOOOOM
(NOTE, back home, on my computer (rather than posting on my phone) and in my regular gym )
Hit 205x3 today on BB Bench and 225x1. Both of which at 184lbs, the last time I benched 225x2 I was at 205. Technically, I call that a PR. Either way, when I hit Bench again later this week, it'll be even better. I was also tired from a few lifts before this so, definitely think even without taking the week to week gain into consideration, I think 205x4 would have been possible.
Goal for next Bench day is 205x4 for sure. Maybe 4.5 reps if possible.
Thinking probably a Deadlift/Shrugs/Grip day tomorrow. Again, on a powerlifting week, so all 1-5 reps, <50 rep entire workouts.Caz Smash

Hit Lats and Bis yesterday. Nothing immense to report. I hit BW+70lbsx4 on Weighted Chins which I think is a PR. But, I think I need to stop doing Powerlifting Lats/Bis at least until my shoulder heals up completely, it kills to do all those lifts with my shoulder (bicep tendon SLAP tear surgery ~5 months ago).
Either going to take today off, or go to the gym for a weak point day. Forearms, Calves, Shoulders, Abs or something.Caz Smash

Did a deload day yesterday (8/2/12), full body workout...Bench, Squats, Leg Curl, Ab work, PT work, and then some. Felt good just to get the body moving.
Hit a hardcore Bench day today...
BB Bench 205x3.75x2 - PR
Decline BB Bench Press 195x5 2 - PR
DB Bench 85lbs each x 5 x 2 - PR
Cable Tricep Pulldown>Rev Pulldown Superset x 5/5 x 2/2 x 168lbs/132lbs - PR
Smackin them PRs in the face!
Deadlift day or deload day tomorrow. Probably back on Hypertrophy next week, well see. Not sure yet if I am going to Maryland or not. Shoulder is hurting though, needs some rest.Caz Smash

Deloaded again 8/4/12, just a lot of PT work and Ab Work, which was nice. -Bill Murray, Caddyshack
Hit a Deadlift day today 8/5/12, SNAPPIN PRs LIKE A CHAMP!!! Hit 325x5, failed at 375x1, and failed at 365x1...odd...but I was tired and I am tired from all this powerlifting, my body has had enough for sure.
Starting back on cutting tomorrow, going to do whatever feels good, but probably only HIIT the next few days, and some PT work, then on some Hypertrophy.Caz Smash

Took today off, got really sick last night, crazy cramps right after eating 200g of Brocolli and a 10oz steak. Really strange. Only thing I can think of is that I may have not had too much veggies for a while and my digestive track may have been a little clogged, so it was cleaning it out. But I am not sure. All I know is, is that I didn't want to do anything today.
Hopefully going to really hard tomorrow, maybe with a hockey game in the early AM...which I will count for my HIIT for the day ...then a workout later too.Caz Smash

Hit Chest/Tris Hyper today. Again, I wasn't feeling 100% so it wasn't a great preforming workout, meaning I didn't snap PRs But, it was good.
BB Bench 135x12, 135x29
DB Bench (Each) 70x12, 75x10, 75x10 (PR?)
Tricep Kickback (Each) 35x12x3 Supersetted with Tricep Cable Pulldown+Reverse Pulldown 150x10x3/120x10x3
Then I taught my sister how to do a few movements, DB Bench, Lat PD, Squats, etc...just working on form.
Not sure what I will do tomorrow, but definitely gonna go harder if I feel better.Caz Smash

8/11/12 - Shoulder day, ~25 sets 10 reps each, lots of Pyramids, just going hard. Never get DOMS on shoulders though, so only way to know how good I am doing is by how much weight I am using.
8/12/12 - Deads, Shrugs, and Quads day. Used straps for the first time in my life. Hit a Dead PR, 295x10, then 315x10!!! Then did Occluded Quad training, it was insane! Definitely going to do the same thing on Bi's and Tri's this week.
8/13/12 - Shoulder is KILLING ME today though, maybe just HIIT, even though I want to go for some Bench PRs. Still recomping though so I need to do some HIIT.Caz Smash

8/13/12 - Hardcore HIIT! Did 12 cycles of HIIT w/ a Sweatsuit on, along with 30ish some odd minutes in the sauna with it on. Lost some serious ell bees. Mostly water, but it was good to sweat it out. I'm sure it also made me lose a little bit of extra calories also. After 2 hours post workout my HR was still 1.5x my resting.
Probably more HIIT today 8/14, maybe some light PT work, shoulder is still killing me from Deads on Sunday.Caz Smash

Hit a Hyper Chest/Tris day today 8/20/12, I know I haven't hit anything else lately, but everything else hurts my shoulder a lot, so why not do stuff that doesn't hurt it...and my chest is lacking...so win win...only loss being that I am not gaining on anything else...which I have no control over how my shoulder feels other than how I treat it...by not being an idiot at times w/ a 1RM on Deads.
Anywho...also did some HIIT along with being fidgety all day, did like 90 different things...so I am sure I am on a deficit.Caz Smash
