Just out of curiosity, can you explain why you think its bullsh¡t? I talked to a urologist (they guy who processed my piss test at MEPS last week) and he said practically the same thing. He straight up told me too much protein would be wasted and could eventually cause kidney damage.

Everything the urologist said is correct, but there are so many varying degrees and factors involved.
Most people taking a multi will piss it away, mostly, but there could be something that their diet is deficient in.
Drink plenty of water when on higher protein intake will be somewhat reno-protective i think . . .

the only thing that matters is how much grams of protein per dollar you are getting.
none of this "scoop" or "grams of protein per serving" sh*t.
if a brand has 30 grams of protein per serving but the serving size is 50 grams, that is NOT a good ratio.
what i do when evaluating the best deal for protein is calculate how much protein is in the actual tub, then divide by the cost.
so, for example, if there is a 5 lb tub that has 22 grams of protein per serving and it has 73 servings total, that would be a total of 22*73 grams of protein in the tub, which is 1606 grams of protein. say it costs 40 bucks, then you are getting 1606/40 = 40.15 grams of protein per dollar. the more grams of protein per dollar you are getting, the better.
i'm always scouring online for the best protein deals, and i have gotten up to 65 grams of protein per dollar before (it was 26 bucks for 5 lbs, had like 24 grams of protein per serving and 73 servings).
