My joints pop/snap while doing pushups

When I start doing pushups my joints, particularly the elbows 'make a sound' and 'snap'.
Is this normal? Is something wrong with my bones?

It's hard to tell for sure, sometimes it's just air bubbles trapped in the synovial fluid. Do you feel pain when it happens?

No, no pain at all. Just loud sound.
    Could be the "air bubbles"

:S but how much air is in there?

Question: "How to lose chin fat?"
Squat with the barbell gripped with your teeth.

Joints getting into socket. I smashed my chin when a kid and if I eat food larger than my mouth it pops out...(locks up if I am not lucky that meal.) Maybe I'm a snake? I don't know. I also get it in my right elbow when doing DB crushers (I like calling it DB crushers) and the next week I'll get it in my left elbow and not my right... lol? It's normal, don't worry about it.

I get something like this too, but mine seems to fluxuate. I will get it in my wrists during push ups for sometimes a month, but then it will go away for a while.

No pain, it's just funny feeling.

I find that this is common with new lifters.
I have found it to be easily remedies by performing a couple pump sets for the antagonist muscle, in this case the rear delts.
Its possible its the bone (humerus) popping in and out of the joint a tad.
Just my theory here, but is supported by the efficacy of the antagonist work.
*edit* just noticed its mostly elbows. Do some pump work for biceps, triceps and wrist extensors.

could be a mild tendon impingement. you might get some pain in that area when you get older but hopefully not.
