I've been working out for a while now at home every other day. I have an ez-curl bar with over 100lbs of plates, a set of 65lb dumbbells, and a set of 40lb dumbbells. I've been making steady progress, getting good size. I mostly do upper body workouts since my equipment is very limited. I want to start going to the gym once a week because I would like to hit some compound lifts with actual weight. I cant justify paying 30-40 dollars a month on a gym membership when I'm getting good progress at home. I've had memberships in the past but eventually I stop going and get stuck with a useless bill. Only reason I want to go to begin with is to work on my legs and my back. So my question is, would going to the gym once a week and working on some compound lifts benefit me in any way or no? keep in mind I'm not trying to be a professional body builder..
