    eating a lot before bed

Would it be okay to eat a lot (~600 cals) before bed as long as I saty within my daily caloric limit? I often find myself short on cals at the end of the day. I usually eat slow digesting stuff like veggies, salmon, chicken, string cheese, almonds, etc. Also is eating a lot of light string cheese (60 cals, 2.5g fat, and 8g protein) (3-4 day) bad? Thanks in advance!

your body doesnt know what time it is
If you didnt you would end up in a caloric deficit for the day

yes, due to a very busy day and little time I have just had 1300 cals before bed, and I am still low (bulking) as determined said, your body isn't exactly in tune to the time

I personally HAVE to eat a huge meal (~800-1kcal) prebed or else I wake up in the middle of the night starving. I have about 4kcal to work with so its not too hard to fit it in. As long as you are hitting your macro's its all good.

Actually yes the body does know what time it is as its internal clock know roughly the time of the day. That is why people can work night shifts for years but their body is still out of whack. That is beside the point though. Yes you can eat before bed as your body still needs fuel for when you are sleeping.
