Nice job. A PR is a PR no matter how small but I'm sure you've heard something similar to that last part before.

Just watched the vid and what you were refering too those are called a JM Press and there's several ways you can do them and they all basically come down to just getting the bar down to the neck and jamming it back up.
Dave and JM are probably the best to describe it as they are the originators of the movement

Nope, it was 290 but I can still send you underwear pics, I know you want them. And you can neg me if you want. Maybe I should have made a real bet, then I would have used my smelling salts and tried harder. I took them with me to the gym and a CD full of metal songs for me to blast, but it turned out there were too many people there and I didn't want to scare them. So my punishment is to be stuck with a 285 baby bench. One day I'll bench 2x your bodyweight.

Not when there is a sign by the stereo saying that when the trainers are there training the clients, they have control over the music. Typically, the time I go to the gym it is pretty empty. There may be one trainer there and I'll ask him if I can change the music and he doesn't mind. But, for some reason, tonight there was like 10x more people there so it changed things a bit. I even thought about leaving and coming back later or another day but I said fawk it I'll just get jacked up in my head instead.
So color suggestion on said underwear pic? And we talking boxers, briefs, compression shorts, boxer-briefs?1372 @ 205

Last training session so I just did everything I could think of to make myself feel as bad as possible for the next week and not even think about lifting. It's funny how I even try to pull with my lower back for sumo. Also, try and guess how much those massive people in the background weigh.1372 @ 205

I mean this is week 6 but I have to stop basically. I'm flying back down to Miami on Friday and I don't have a gym membership. I will try to borrow my mom's car so I can hit some random gym maybe once or twice in the 10 days I'm down there. But it will probably be just light stuff to recover and get ready for the new year.
I have hit some nice PRs during these 6 weeks. 410x5, 435x4, 445x4 bounced, 460x3 bounced, and 470x2 bounced on deadlift were all PRs. 455x1 on sumo tonight was also a PR, I couldn't even break 455x1 off the ground several months ago. Hit some nice PRs on front squat every week as well including 275x1 last week. I probably could have gotten 300 today but went straight to 315 and had no strength left. Hit a 10 lbs PR on bench as well. Haven't really tested squat other than hitting 420 mid training.1372 @ 205

yeah i see man big lifts coming , you'll get that 300 sooner or later. Was your 420 was tough or no? right now im on the 2nd week of madcows and like i feel i goofd even though i drop my ohp 20lbs , used the 320 bench pause max, 513 dl max and just 405 squat max but im still getting all my reps. It's just stupid madcows starts of so much heavier then stonglifts

You've had some solid training and getting a good deload in now will probably be good. Can't wait to see what you hit in April. 1300 may just go down.

They also have these cool things now called headphones. Google it. I hear Christmas is coming.
Well that depends. Allow me to introduce you to the eye colour clothes matching chart:
As for style, you ought to know how to work with your own body type by now. If not the misc has many helpful threads on dressing oneself to advantage.
That 315 front would have been epic.training log: http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=153696161&page=51

I felt my form break down on the 420 so I stopped at 1. It was supposed to be a top set of 3. But my focus is on bench and deadlift so I didn't want my squat to tire me out for deadlifts at any time. Madcows definitely starts heavy, I couldn't even get 5 reps on the top set of deadlifts for week 1. I only got 415x4. But atleast I hit 410x5 last night as my 2nd to last set so I've made dem gainz.
Yea still waiting to see exactly when the meet is in Oklahoma or if I'm going to try and do the March meet with Stig and Erick in Florida. If I don't get 1300 in the next 4 months and my back isn't broken, I will be quite disappointed. If I held my squat at 463 and upped my bench to 275 and dead to 505 then I'm at 1245. Need to find 55 lbs somewhere, wanna lend it to me?
I've had to kind of hold back on pulling fast off the ground cuz that is what causes me to pull with my low back and fawk sh!t up. So I think about using all legs to break off the ground which has made my speed off the ground alittle slower. My bar path actually goes back now rather than straight up, it was quite surprising.
You don't know me very well. I hate putting on or using more things than necessary. They just get in the way and are annoying. That is why you will never see me wearing knee sleeves, wrist wraps, or headphones. I use my iPod to video my lifts anyways.
As for the COLOR matching, no garnet & gold no care.
And yes the 3 plate front squat would have been epic. Looks like my upper back was just shot and couldn't keep my elbows up.1372 @ 205
