that's essentially 1 to 5 odds. 10 yields you 50, 100 yields you 500, etc. But I think that would be a completely stupid bet to put any real money on. Jones is a killer.

There are guys in the world (primarily Vegas) that make a sustainable lifestyle sports betting. Even guys like Billy Walter have the ability to SIGNIFICANTLY affect the line's/odds depending on the side he bets on. But these are few and far in between. While the internet enables very good information to guys like you and I, we still do not have perfect information. Anyone who has bet for a significant period can also recognize the seemingly "fixed/rigged" nature of some games (referee's calling retarded fouls in NBA, missed calls, etc) makes betting more like luck to me then skill. The skill is not in picking the winner/loser (b/c statistically you WILL lose in the long run with a strategy like this) but in finding value in the odds/spreads.
