What happens if I dont stop taking creatine. i been on it for a Year

Ok been on it for a year works good wonders. creatine mono is what im taking. last year like i was taking it on and off now i jus never stoped taking it. i been taking it every day. is that bad? what will happen to me? I am drinkin a ton of liquid so is that good?

Also I take a teaspoon a day 5 grams sometimes heaPing. and also my protein drinks have creatine in themcuz i use body fortress whey protein which contains creatine. I get 2 and half scoops of the protein in body fortress a day and the amount of creatine from the 2and a halfscoops would be around or near 25-30 grams a day counting the 1 teaspoon i take of it alone.

So is this ok to do as long as i drink a ton of liquid. cuz honestly I dont wana cycle it off cuz when i did last year i lost a lot of strength and i lost the water which made me look big lol.

You don't have to cycle it.

If its working, keep taking it.

Just so you know, the Body Fortress whey doesn't have that much creatine in it, at all. I'm actually pretty sure it's maybe 1g or less per seving...

But also, you don't need to cycle creatine, you can keep taking it for as long as you want.

It's best to cycle if you want the effects to remain strong.

The longer period you take it for without stopping, the less effect it will have.

Dude, read. It doesn't say anywhere on that bottle 9g creatine per scoop. Doesn't even say 9g per serving. It says 9g of BCAA's, or thier recovery blend.

Can I ask why you chose to stay on creatine for a whole YEAR? Sad kids are doing creatine at such a young age so improperly.

Can I ask why you chose to stay on creatine for a whole YEAR? Sad kids are doing creatine at such a young age so improperly.
Lol you are a retard. If anything creatine has been proven to increase testosterone levels by as high as 22%. Creatine use dates back to as early as the 1920's and is the only supplement that has been scientifically studied for the last 20-30 years and has been proven to not have any negative side effects besides minor stomach irritation which is a cause of not drinking enough water. Know your **** before you open your mouth.

I would take shortish breaks from it, I usually take it 2 months on, 2 weeks off. I heard this is unnecessary but I do it anyway,

On a cold Friday afternoon, I had come home from school. I had been thinking of the gym all day. I was hungry, didn't have any lunch. In fact, I didn't eat because I spent the money. For the past month I was saving up for something. Something special which I bought at GNC. I was surprised they didn't ask for ID; I was pretty sure the cashier noticed how nervous I was. Anyways, my mom asked my how my day was when I got home, but I ignored her. I have more important things to do. I run to the bathroom and unpack my bag. In my school bag is a white plastic bag from GNC. I open the bag, first removing the receipt and flushing it down the toilet to get rid of the evidence. My heart was racing now. I unpack the creatine monster from the bag.

I wonder what people will be asking me when they see that I will be 50lbs heavier. Should I say I was just eating a lot? I remove the label from the tub and tear it into a thousand small pieces. I flush that down the toilet, too. It is time now. I run up to my room when my mom ask me what I am holding. I panic, sweat drips down my forehead and my teeth chatter. "Mom, it's just for a school project". "What project?" "I don't know mom I just started it!". A tear runs down my cheek. I run upstairs and open the creatine, scooping upservings into a clear water bottle. What have I gotten myself into? I fill it with water and drink it. There is no turning back now. The creatine monster is inside me now, it will control me. What should I do if I die? I cant let my family know about this.

I open the creatine tub and throw it all out the window; a white cloud of mysterious dust sparkles into the wind so graciously. I feel the substance taking control of me; I am now the monster. I walk downstairs, its time to work out; time to get big. Now I worry, I don't want to get too big; people will think I use steroids. I do use steroids. No I don't. Creatine. All I see is the weights now, I am almost downstairs when I hear "Do you want a cookie I just baked". I know I do not have time for this **** now. "No mom I do not want a cookie" I walk in the basement and drop to my knees before the weights, tears running down my cheeks. I turn to the right and look at myself in the mirror. Oh god, what have I done?

Also was on creatine monohydrate for a year and stopped - bad side effects!

I was also on creatine monohydrate for about a year (taking 5 grams everyday into my post workout protein shake). I did not cycle the creatine - I took it every day for about 10 months. I was seeinging incredible gains the first 3-4 months of taking it ( gained about 10 pounds ). Then month 6 I lost 6-7 pound but still lifting heavier and still appeared bigger (most likely from the water retention). I then got sick month 10 with a flu and had to take time off the gym. I stopped taking creatine cold turkey for about 2 weeks and lost most of my gains. I lost another 6-7 pounds (mainly water weight). I now appear skinny and others can tell that I have lost weight (muscle mass and water weight). I am now feeling better from the flu and ready to hit the gym. I of course panicked of what creatine mono did to me and swore I would not ever take it again if I cant keep the gains while not on it. So I went out and bought Purple-K Kre-Alkalyn.

My question now - Should I go back to monohydrate but cycle it this time (4 weeks on 4 weeks off) and hope that I will keep the gains?
Or should I not go back to mono and try KA?
