Do bodybuilders ever binge/eat junk food?

Damn it feels so good finishing 4 cups of rocky road ice cream. Do bodybuilders ever enjoy their food also or they have to eat very strict 24/7?

Lol you should check out the "Meals Eating Now" thread some good eating going on in there, but Pro Bodybuilders are human, im sure they binge after contest and if they are in the off season. Going into a competition is where it gets crazy intense dieting, from what i hear

There are VERY VERY few actual bodybuilders in that thread. They're not an example.

OP - yeah, there is definitely some of that, normal human beings -- especially after a show. One thing to keep in mind is when you're shoveling down so much whole, quality food that there are very little cravings for **** food and some **** food isn't going to hurt them when they do eat it.

Honestly do it, If its a once in a while thing those extra out of the blue calories will only help, not only may they build muscle but when you stop them thats cut calories and you may loose fat. Enjoy that **** food and the recomp effects. Me personally eating clean has totally destroyed my ability to eat greasy foods like hotdogs, meatloaf, certian types of tomato sauce's and pork, notice I said greasy and not oily, before when i ate those foods i eventually spit up the grease.. now i usally end up throwing up so if you even enjoy those foods anymore give it a couple of shots sometime and see how it works out for you

When bodybuilders are in off season they don't typically watch what they eat too tightly, also, bodybuilders are famous for post-contest binges. It's totally common to witness one taking down 10,000 calories post contest.

Of course they do, no one is "perfect".

That being said, cheating generally just slows your progress towards your eventual goal. The frequency of cheating all boils down to how badly you want what you're chasing.

in some cases, a cheat binge every so often can be a plateau buster and get you to your goal faster. Especially on a cut where your leptin hormones are low and your metabolism slows down.

I can verify this, I was wondering why after I eat more do I tend to lean down. Leptin levels are it
