just keep in mind everyone, that giving up drugs and alcohol is not the end, its just the beginning of a world you cant imagine.
you may go through some trials but the strength and serenity gained will make those trials worth while.

FOBW this time since 04/08/06 had almost ten before I quit going to meetings and fell out in '05. Sponsor two people these days and go to meetings several times a week.

Man i need to get back to meetings , its been 3-4 weeks. I did go to our membership meetng on Wed nite, but that doesnt count. Trying to get my GYM bussiness/ PT bussiness started, been kinda busy but thats no excuse.

16 years ago today I walked in to AA with the clothes on my back, no skills and no education, off the streets. Yesterday I got back from Kona where I went to a meeting everyday in paradise.

Well have not posted in here for a long time, Been battling it out always relapsing on day 3-4 or 5, So about 1 month ago ended my 4 year relationship. Started working out again, Doing cardio 6 days a week and weight's. Told myself if i drink to bad I AM working out the day after even if i am hangover. Been going very good today i am on day 6 sober and no i am not drinking tonight for St-patty's will just watch the game and a movie and for the first time in 8-9 years tomorow i will see day 7
very happy ! I know it's not much but for me it's allot. ( And yes i plan on keeping going for as long as possible. Forever if i can! )
Just wanted to share! Haven't felt this good in so long! And Happy St-Patty's day everyone.

Cowboy, its the climber. Im also a friend of Bills. Small world. Got 7 months clean, got loaded, almost beat a guy to death over a girl (you know the rest of the story), pulled my head out of my ass, and now have 25 days sober again. I wont be drinking tonight either.

I had one of those fancy st. patrick's day microbrews then went home and went to bed at 9:30. I was invited to my favorite resturant but I stayed home and I'm glad.

While I disagree with your politics (Santorum 2012) I admire that you are bothering to recover. I don't know what steps you've taken, if you're doing it on your own or not, but I would suggest that outside help is beneficial. I have never been an alcoholic, but I would submit I've been perilously close. For those I know who are, their recovery was aided by those who have been through it. I wish you well.

Picked up another commitment for thursday nights.
Teens in recovery.
My wife found out about it and I signed.
I had to give up my juvenile hall commitment.
