Keto Breath

I've been on keto for the past week now. I do it differently to most people on here in a way that I don't eat as much protein( I keep my fats high).

I haven't got any weird taste in my mouth, and my mum says that my breath doesn't smell bad.

So, does this renowned Keto breath effect everyone? Or do some people get along fine?

Not everyone gets keto "symptoms". I don't get any at all (other than feeling a lot better).

Does it taste metallic or like a copper blood taste? If so, then yes that's keto breath. It will also smell like metal. It won't affect you per se just tastes weird.

Nope. The only time I have bad breath taste is in the morning when I wake up, but that has always been the case regardless of diet. It doesn't seem any difference in my mouth to when I followed a normal diet.

I don't get it either dude. Don't worry about it, everyone's different. I'd rather measure fat loss than how metallic my mouth tastes anyway

My first time in ketosis, my breath was fruity and not a problem....

Today, this keto cycle, not only does my breath smell, but tastes horrible. Every once in a while ill taste it, its like somethings rotting. Freaking nasty.

Been on Keto twice. All I get is the metallic taste. Takes about 3-5 days for me to enter Ketosis.
