I'm a novice and my goal is to build muscle and strength, primarily muscle though. So this is the routine, there is a rest day after every training day, maybe taking the weekends off every now and then.
A
squat 3 sets
bench 3 sets
row 3 sets
B
deadlift 2-3 sets
shoulder press 3 sets
chinups 3 sets
I know the basics and frequency are the most important thing for a novice regardless of goals. I like the setup because you can pretty much give 100% on each lift but is this routine enough? Thanks
