What a game. The SF WR got held, not interfered with, but c'mon Jim, call a better play than that. Just throwing it up there with the Superbowl in your grasp? That was possibly the worst play call in SB history. At least give yourself a chance.

At least now we don't have to listen to all of the Ray Lewis ball licking.

I think he tossed it up because of the pressure coming. Quick slant route audible woulda been a good idea. I am disappointed the niners came out so flat, if it wasn't for the power outage halting the momentum that game would have been a blowout, so thanks to the football gods for that. Either way, turned into a fun game even if I didn't get the outcome I wanted.

It's impossible to prove that this is solely because of the power outage. It's more likely that it was because of the halftime adjustments a very good coach made. Or maybe because of a voodoo doll someone in the stands had, or even a bud light label held the wrong way.
