Your post is timely. I happened to pick up some raw brats the other day, but now have no idea what to do with them. It seems you just boil in beer with onions for 15-20 minutes and then crisp up on the grill or in a pan. Is this what you did? Any other tips?

That is what I did, in the beer I threw in some raw onion, salt, a little butter, caraway seeds and let them simmer in that for about 15 min, then browned them in a pan for a few min per side. Served with the onions and stone ground mustard

Awesome thanks, I have only cooked smoked kielbasa before so wasn't sure exactly what to do with the raw sausage but this seems pretty easy.

Went to Cheddar's with the girlfriend last night. I love this place. Great portions, awesome prices, open till midnight on weekends and 11 weekdays. Great date place for a college town

Tenders and Steak combo with loaded baked potato and rice&beans. This was $12.50 and they give you a lot of food. Tenders were best part.
