Arnold's View
According to Arnold in the Encyclopedia of Modern bodybuilding, glycogen supercompensation attempts are so tricky that he recommends that you diet hard till the week before the contest then slowly increase your carbs for the 7 days prior to the contest. He believes that the body is so beat down from the heavy training and dieting that the last thing it needs is to be starved of carbs during the last week of training.
Just a thought

Contest Preparation
Francesco... WHOA...
All I can say is WOW! Your article on Contest Preparation is SECOND to NONE! And you shared this information for FREE! You are indeed a Bodybuilding Humanitarian!
I have read your article a few times and finally the light bulb has come on. I have been asking for this kind of information from a lot of bodybuilding sites and most of them want money for this information. You should write a BOOK!

awesome article!
I just want to thank you for writing this article. I am an amateur bodybuilder and compete in NYC. Although I know most of the stuff you wrote, your article helped me understand more clearly the things I do before the contest and how it actually works. Your article has been very helpful. Thanks again.
