There are many milestones when entering the world of bench pressing. When starting into the gym life, you might see others in the gym benching big weight and wonder how you too can get there.

thats a pretty crappy routine. if you want a big bench, train like a powerlifter, not a bodybuilder.

i have yet to see a worthwhile article from animalpak.

BLA

It might help if you read the article and see who it was meant for. It is looking like you have no idea about training or the levels one has to go through to accomplish a massive bench. Nice way to state your opinion about the article, no facts, nothing about what you do, just an adolescent post.

The program is way into getting back to Arnold's days. Too much volume. Rarely a natural powerlifter can do so much volume right away, without going into it. Rarely does any powerlifter do that much volume in a day, period.
As many sets for back as for biceps. Don't you think your biceps may overtrain? And why do triceps 2 times a week. I know triceps is a very important muscle for benching but it is also a small one and with your program will be beaten to death.
Don't you do deadlifts?
You should have put a disclaimer saying that one can do this routine with a lot of experience is high -volume training and heavy supplementation.

The high volume is meant for the other bodyparts to keep up in strength. As for this being a routine for more advanced lifters and high supplementation, that just isn't true. This is a rotuine for something that lifts moderatley and wants to start to convert to power training. Natural guys need some volume and to be specific on what part that is to be trained for contest. The whole Westside theory for natural guys doesn't work. And as for deadlifts, they might not be done in this routine, but on the next cycle could be thrown in.
