I thought that when you take carbs and proteins at the same time, the GI of the carbs becomes lower, and takes longer to be digested.

Isn't that a problem with the second, third and 4th meals?

Why not continue to take an energy drink with whey for the second and 3rd meals?

And when the window of opportinity is finishing, take a solid meal containing high GI carbs with proteins.


Or, second possibility, take twice the quantity of whey right after the w/o with an energy drink. And the 2nd and 3rd meals, take only high GI carbs from solid food, to keep insulin level high to increase the absorbtion of the whey in the muscle. And finally a meal with high GI carbs and proteins for the 4th meal.
