I wanted Ronnie to break Lee Haneys record being that I never liked Lee Haney's Physique. Ronnies' Physique is awesome !

Theres no way Jay Cutler beat Ronnie! I watched the pre judging several times. Jay looks good, but once Ronnie comes out theres no comparison. I also feel like Markus got shafted. I didn't realize how freaky that brotha was. He made Jay Cutler look like Pee Wee Herman!

This is complete garbage Ronnie is the 9 time Mr. Olympia! Cutler is nothing in comparison. he should bow down at Ronnie's feet ! I't a disgrace in the world of bodybuilding! the judges should tuck their tails in shame this day! I am ashamed for them!!! Ronnie keep your head held high ... you are the true King of Kings!

Jay was totally on and he beat Ronnie fairly. Not only did he beat him, he completely knocked out the champ. Forever folks have said that you have to knock out the champ to beat him...now Jay finally did it.

everybody know ronnie got rip off theres no way jay beat ron i think the mr o not what it use to be we all know they wanted ron to lose, why would they put the mr o on web cam instead of pay per veiw the ami have no love for the ones who love the mr o .please forgive me for that statment i mean no disrespect i think the reason why jay won because muscle tech help sponsed this event.

Jay completely beat the champ this year. Props go to both of them, but Jay earned it. I am a Jay fan, but more importantly I am a bodybuilding fan. Why are folks so upset? Ronnie has won some that were debatable while Jay finally broke through in a stellar performance.

Thats right he showed that perserverance and knowledge put together make a good combo I have followed his career since the very begining and believe me this is like a dream come true for Jayson.

To be honest..jay deserved that..he had better back,abs,and legs, but ronnie had better arms..but that didn't help him..eventhough jay won but i know ronnie will be back to take it for the 9th time next year.

No ways man!!! Ronnie was shafted by the powers that be...Yeah Cutler looked good but Coleman was something else. I've watched Mr O's for the last 30 years..Believe me Cutler had nothing on Big Ron..He go royally screwed! Disgusting is what it is! But knowing Ron, he will be back next year to take his spot as # 1 man again...Look at the backshots..Look at Jay's lower back and glutes..Loose skin, lack of balance and definition. Look at Cutlers arms and compare to Ronnie..No contest. Ronnies vascularity..Like a roadmap..Jay almost no vascularity. Quads? Look again..Chest? Look again..Ronnie was superior in every respect. He got screwed nice and solid because the powers that be know that he has a stranglehold on the Sandow..They could not flaw his physique but they shafted hin anyway! What a load of crapola!

I think some of you people are up in the night! Jay looked amazing, his physique is PERFECT. Ronnie has a bloated belly, his legs do not have the cuts like Jay's do either. Cutler's chest is AMAZING! It is about time, Jay deserves this so much, Ronnie is amazing, don't get me wrong, but it was Cutler's turn. Finally the judges got it right.

p.s. if you are going to post, learn how to spell and use punctuation.

I am a fan of both Jay and Ronnie. Both looked great. But, I must say that the judges got it correct last night. If Ronnie would have come in about 15 lbs. lighter and without the belly, he would have won, no questions. He tried to come in with too much mass and was not properly conditioned for it. If we were going by symmetry I would have placed Ronnie lower that that...but mass wise, he cannot be touched. That saves him each year. Dexter looked great as well. I also agree that Markus got the shaft and Gunter was off and should not have placed above Branch by any means.

This is a disgrace. Something needs to be done about the politics in this sport. I am a fan of both Jay and Ronnie, but I believe Ronnie had the contest won. Jay beat him in every round? Strange. Muscletech should not be bought.
If Ronnie returns, this will be good for next years mr O. The powers at be know this, hence why its happend. The politics of the sport is turning me for one away from it.

Well all of you need to put in persepective how many times cutler has been coming in 2nd place, 2004 was cutles year and that was bull****, ronnie looked good last year, jay was lighter, this year, ronnie thought they were just going to give it to him, if you watched the press conference ronnie trained 7 months for this show, jay trained 2 weeks out of last years olympia, his abs, back, legs, and basically his while physique was IN CONDITION, ronnie thought too highly of himself, and jay earned that ****, ronnie is the greatest bodybuilder of all time... but not on september 30th 2006

Both Ronnie and Jay looked good, but I think Ronnie was better. Honestly, Ronnie, Jay & Markus should be ina class on their own and other bodybuilders should compete in a different league. I am and always will be drawn to the more "stream line" looks of a Melvin Anthony or a Mark Dugdale. If you look at their physiques side by side with Ronnie Jay or Ruhl, you'll see that yes they are smaller and yes they don't have the freakishly huge body parts but you'll see deep cuts in the thighs, upper arms and ab's. Their physiques look much more appealing to me.

I was rooting for big ron but i think jay looked better i dont think either of them should have won. I think dexter looked the the best followed by freeman. I think it's bull**** gunther placed 10th he looked terrible by his own standards. Ruhl should have placed a little better i think as well.

I have looked at pre-judjing pics. I looked at the Man's final pics.
I believe that Jay Cutler has a great physique. Ronnie had his time till last year. This year Jay Cutler showed great posing on the stage. His physique was also well maintained and a balanced physique. Ronnie may be a mucle monster but he is not as smart as Jay Cutler. Look at the entrance of Jay Cutler and his Lats spread posing. It was awesome....
On the other hand Ronnie was looked over confident this time.....
Anyhow....the fact is..Jay Cutler has beaten Ronnie.
Ronnie must try next time....

this was the most stupid contest i've even seen! there is no way in heaven or hell that jay culter beat R.Coleman. to all you jay fans; he received an unworthy gift. Coleman towered over that boy this weekend, he knows we all know it .just because you are a fan of someone,or think they are a nice person does not mean they deserve the win. if that were the case gunter would win everytime! i like jay and have the man a couple of times, he's nice and has a great physque,BUT, not enough for the win! now i am a Coleman fan by far and almost fell out of seat when jay's name was called.this was a travesty. think about it, even jay was surprised when his name was called, because deep in his heart he knew that show DID NOT belong to him. if Ronnie was off i'd be the first to admit it, the world who witnessed the same program i saw know that was not even close to being the case. it was politics at it's best and justice at its worst. if ray charles were still alive he would've even been able to see that R.Coleman was far more superior. i pray the ifbb's blatant disrespect for the truth does not tarnish the image of what true bodybuilding is suppose to be about. this past weekend Ronnie was that image, but somehow jay got 1st. no matter what others may write or have written in defense of jay, the true is what it is without any excuses. jay, who's a great bodybuilder may have been given the 1st place check, but it wasn't cause he honestly beat R. Coleman. there was no knockout, only a slap in the face!and we all know it.

Im just gonna have to be the voice of reason here and say that no matter who won Mr Olympia its all a matter of the judges perception. To be honest i dont think Cutler or Coleman deserved this one, but their profile was enough to keep them on top, THATS IT. And believe me, im a huge fan of Jay Cutler, so this is saying something. Well done to Jay anyway, no one can take this away from him.

how jay won is mystery to me. that was no upset! it was political bull. vic and dex could've taken 2 & 3 .jay at #1? HELL NO! his tan or shall i say paint job was bad and one of his biceps was noticebly smaller than last year, lower back still smooth and legs not up to par like before either. ronnie was animal who did not get what he earned. hopefully next year he'll come back and destroy like he's done in the past and be awarded what's his!

to the voice of reason, you ain't saying anything in reason. no you can't take the win from jay, but recognize he did not earn anything this past weekend. ronnie as well as a few others were cheated.vic was the only placing that made sense to me. ronnie loosing made no sense.

no matter what anyone says jay was the hardest man in the show. no one has been as hard as that in many many years. ronnie was bloated. jist being big and puffy is not enough.

As a fan of the sport I have come to realize that this sport is based on the subjective veiwing of judges and fans. The trends of the sport have caused a movement towards the bigger is better theory. I am a huge fan of all of the participants in this sport including Big Ron but I feel it necessary to point out that although he came in at an incredible three hundred pounds of muscularity he was lacking in symetry in a few areas and was smooth in those same areas by finals drawing attention to those flaws. Jay looked incredible as well with fewer chinks in his armor than he has ever displayed, notably he showed a little loseness from weight cut and his color was distracting. I felt that Marcus Ruhl brought his best package ever to the show and if we are going to put the size of Ron and Jay up front we can't leave of Ruhl. Sadly Gunter was off in overall symetry and Branch's thighs far overshadowed his upperbody. I had hope to see a new benchmark in bodybuilding history with Ron's 9th victory and was disapointed initially in the decision but after reveiwing the side by sides and compulsaries I have to say that I agree that Jay was the best on this night. Don't worry though Mr. Coleman's never quit attitude will bring him back for his 9th next year( this is my subjective view!!!).

If anyone deserved this contest ..It was Dexter. His physique has really changed since last year. Yeah Ronnie outmuscled Jay again But lets get real... Ronnie was FAT and Bloated and No i am not a cutler fan either. Here are the facts
1.Ronnie's stomach was bloated and somewat distended
2. Its like you could almost see his sides!!!
3. At the back posing.... Ronnie had two noticeble tires/ striations....that wasn't muscle folks... it was fat!!
4. Both Jay and Dexter were drier than Ronnie.. aka muscle striations
5. Ronnie Didn't pose very well ....vascularity be damned
6. people say he needed to lose 15 ibs... i say he needed to lose 30 to add more definition to his abs
Thats the facts folks... don't cry ...i was there You were not
