Thumbs up

I'm new to squats and really like the changes they are making to my body. I started with full body squats, then 50 pounds, 80 and now 100 pounds. It's not a lot of weight compared to others on here, but, I've only been doing them a couple of weeks. I haven't tried the 20 rep squats yet. I did 3 sets of 5 the other night and my quads hurt so bad that I could barely walk up the stairs and walking down the stairs was even worse. My quads were wasted so I knew I did them with proper form. I'm going to try the 20 rep one set scheme the next time. Thanks for the good information...

20 rep squats are an old old routine and they work.James makes a good point that squats are the best exercise out there but we all ready knew that?or did we?i personally thing deadlifts are the best exercise for maximum growth however squats are my close second.I love to hear about 20 rep squats as i love them,i do them maybe 2 months of the year to add on some pounds and for something challenging. In short i loved the article and hope to see more from this writer. Also for all of you that havent read the manifesto of mass buy it now because it will be the best info you can ever have.
