I've read most of that story elsewhere, and it is interesting stuff. However, one of the latter pages of an article insinuates that short, low-volume workouts are for lazy people, which royally pisses me off. Gee whiz, I guess I must be lazy for not having the one-in-a-zillion genetics that would allow me to embark on Ahnold-esque training without turning into overtrained, burnt-out mush. I must also be a real bum for building my routine around major compound exercises, lifting weight that's heavy for me, challenging myself, and putting as much focus and energy into each workout as possible. After all, I spend less than three hours in the gym each day, so that's obviously no better than sitting on my ass, watching Springer, and snarfing Cheetos. I guess the definition, bit of mass, and strength I've gained over the past year and a half are figments of my imagination, being that I'm such a sloth and all that.
