What was the purposeof this article? I read it and walked away with nothing. I believe most powerlifters are aware that nutrition is an essential part of their routine. The question most powerlifters have about nutrition is how to make the most of their nutritional needs. Questions such as what foods have the most bang for the buck ; i.e grams of protein per ounce, how much to eat, which foods to consume after a work out or before a workout etc, etc, etc. rather this article gave none of this information , in fact it was as if this author was writing an article to drum up a little consulting buisness.
Articles such as this draw readers in who are looking for information in an attempt to better there results ,unfortunately far to many of these articles are like this: thick on fluff and thin on useful information.
So you told a guy put down the chips cut down on the burgers and back away from the Slim Jims ,but what did he replace that junk food with. How many calories was he injesting, what was the ratio of protein to carbs and so on and so on and so on.
Give the readers to this website some real info and save the fluff for that other industry in the valley.
