nice try

I doubt this was actually a pro doing an interview, it sounded like an attempt to teach people how to properly use steriods. I dont know maybe it was a pro but it was pretty lousy as far as really telling what goes on behind the scenes that people dont hear about. Aside from teaching people how to properly use steriods the article was worthless.

There are a few pros who weigh in at that weight. There height has a lot to do with it. The 5'9 and up guys are the ones that weigh in around 260+

As far as the article, decent but still so many unanswered questions about what really goes on.

He also says many natural feds are loaded with steroid users. If so, that is pathetic. Why would you use the juice and then go compete against a natural field. To win what, a trophy? That's pathetic, IMO.

Steroids and the 200lb pro BB

I see most are saying that there is now way this guy is a real BB. Personally, I found the interview to be one of the best and informative I have read in a long time. Thats my opinion anyway.

If you read the article you would see that it is about a pro bodybuilder (IFBB by the way), not me. I don't claim to be an authority on steroids, just wanted to get the opinion of a professional athlete out there. I did compete as a natural and remain natural.

I personally loved the part how he said that there is no way some of the natural BBers could possibly get that big with AA use. Oh well, just another hater on us "Natties" I do question the reputability of this man though. hmmm.

The pro who they interviewed is a cock. It sounds like something Gregg Valentino would say.

I thought it was a excellent article that got me thinking. I put on about 2lbs. of lbm every year i train. If i diet down i am just slightly bigger than average, i only bench 340 and i have trained for more than a decade, and i am already 28. If steroids can make my results far greater- and i can keep almost all of them when off-cycle, while actually improving my health, aas here we go!

Yes it is a pro. Make whatever comments you want - it is real. While I do not agree with the use of steroids in sports I can understand why some would use it. The world of sports, regardless which one, are extremely competitive and will make almost anyone go one step further if it means they could win.

sigh.. There are natural competitions held for money and prizes. I know that one of the biggest natural contests is held in california and 1st place recieves 10,000 in cash and prizes. Another reason why a natural would juice would be because they are very competitive. If you read the article it states that as one of the reasons why any pro would juice, people love to win and I'm sure these natural guys get a lot of respect and street credit in the natural world of bodybuilding if they win 1st place. So no, you don't just win a trophy.

Cool I'm a true player.

The article was good for a bodybuilder that's competitive as hell, but seemed biased towards encouraging the benefits verses side effects (people who have lost their legs, livers due to steroid use) Legalsteroids.com probably payed to have this article written as their most popular....dianabol and winstrol are encouraged and claim "safe" results if you use them wisely.

i think this was an excellent interview, teaches everything to know about steroids, of course i knew all of this already, but its great for some people who think taking a proper cycle will drop dead cause its so bad for you, you rookies know nothing, if you cycle small dosages properly and constantly check up with the doctor you will be absolutely fine, testosterone is natural, just as protein and creatine are, so to say that injecting testosterone is bad for you is to say that taking protein shakes is bad for you, so you see, for all you idiots who are so against juice, learn your facts and stop being so stereotypical

geez, the article and this post, make me wonder what I'm holding on to trying to keep natural.

Cool Drug-Free Bodybuilding

Yes, you can increase muscle size and strength with effective drug-free training, nutrition and supplement programs.

Yes, natural bodybuilding is best.

Natural bodybuilding competitors need to start being more aggressive about keeping the cheating drug using bodybuilders out of their clean and honest sport.

Yes, multiple illegal drugs use is common among bodybuilders. But guess what, most of them never win a contest, and go on to suffer life-long side effects, including premature death.

So yes, drug-free bodybuilding is the best approach, the healthiest approach, and the smart approach.

I don't understand why dudes think chicks dig big dudes. The truth is we girls laugh and make fun of meat head guys at the gym. It's cool to be in good shape but not all blown up. That's the truth and I'm stickin' to it!

who said anything about being big for chicks? did you read a different article than me?
Your comment means nothing really as there are chicks that dig big dudes and there are chicks that dig small dudes just like there are chicks that dig rich dudes and chicks that dig drunk bar dudes....... you and your little friends dont dictate the likes or dislikes of the world. so go ahead and "laugh at the meat head guys in the gym"....... I'm positive that the only reason that you tease people behind their backs is because of your own insecurities anyway.

Hiding behind a computer screen... your body must be incredible. laugh.

Anyway I thought this probbably one of the most interesting articles I have read on BB.com.. The natural guy made some really really good points... the majority of people do not think these big time pros.. (coleman, cutler) look good... they look like absolute freaks... they look terrible in my eyes and probbably alot of other peoples eyes... do they have complete physiques that they worked hard for... yes, however they look so drugged up and unnatural it's disgusting...

bodybuilding today is just a MASS competetion... it's all about being disgustingly big, and having the physique... I think their are many other lighter juiced up pros who look better then cutler, yet he gets the crown... because of his freakish size... yes he has a complete muscular package but it is disgusting for an average person to look at... I can't beleive anyone WOULD WANT to look like that. If BBers were tested and it was enforced... no not testing 3 weeks out of competetion... im taking year round testing... I beleive it would explode and become much more main stream, it is not accepted because it is a FREAK SHOW... and natural BB is not accepted by the public because most of the public is unaware there is any such thing...

anyway im done venting... excellent read imo.
