This is a good article on time management for health. I have a few tips to add. One way that I acheive a better cardio and an all day fat burn is by doing 'double cardio' meaning I do it twice a day. I do it in the evenings around 9:00 for 45 min and I do it during the work day for 15. I usually try and keep it around 10:00 am. I can do this on my break, I do just enough to burn off any lactic acid buildup from intervals the night before and break a light sweat. To get my 15 minutes I quickly change clothes and jump rope in the loading docks. There is never anyone there and I'm never missed. Its my scheduled break anyway. When I'm done I towel down, change clothes and get back to work.

This gives me a good fat burn throughout the day and doesn't burn me out.
