Accuracy?
This article was wrote by a Shaklee represenative soley for the purpose of selling their product, I found it full of inaccurate information. Your heart is not 85% water, it is a solid mass consisting mostly of cardiac muscle tissue, the blood going through it is mostly water, the brain too is not even close to 90% water, it too is a solid mass. Sipping gatorade rather than water during a cardio workout makes the body burn the sugars (carbs) in the gatorade rather than burning the fat which is the ultimate goal of cardio. The only reason the atkins diet is dangerous to your health is because of all the fat and cholesterol in the diet. You eat enough protein with the Atkins diet so you don't loose muscle mass and cutting out just carbs does not make you shed waterweight, it forces the body to burn more fat for energy, and after doing the Atkins diet, a person can return to a normal, while still remaining healthy and balanced diet and not gain back the lost weight. Ephedrine does not cause vessels in the brain to burst as this happening would be called a Hemmoragic CVA (Stroke), and when a stroke happens it does not cause dark circles under the eyes, rather it causes severe confusion, sometimes weakness on one hemisphere of the body, impaired speech and commonly death Ephedrine deaths almost always resulted from either overuse of the drug or combinations of it with other stimulants. Caffeine in fact is a common cause of the dark circles, as well as genes and lack of sleep, stress, etc. Aspirin does in fact thin the blood, but DOES NOT kill red blood cells which carry oxygen. In fact, Aspirin is always given to heart attack patients the minute they enter the emergency room, obviously not near as dangerous of a drug as described in this article. Thermogenics do not aim to thin the blood, they aim to increase the metabolism and slightly increase body temperature to burn off fat, get rid of water and decrease mass. Please, read unbiased articles if you are truley interested in fitness.

Damn... you basically ripped that article apart and countered pretty much everything she said. I wish you were still a member so you could due that to a lot of these other articles, because half of what I see in a lot of cases is nothing more than B.S. This article, as you've previously stated, is definitely filled with lies and intent to sell products. What's even worse is that something with so much wrongful information could be passed and put forward. Hopefully this has not been put into any magazines and is not getting a widespread circle or it will contaminate the minds of many.
Thank you for your analyzation, as you've shed an incredible amount of light on what a lot of people will take as truth, not because they think so, but simply because they just don't know better.
