hope you arent going to ever give anyone advice like '100 sets per area', as it sounds a little much even for someone juicing.
id much rather stick to the intense 3x a week full body routine, bench thrice squat twice and deadlift once a week, 2 or 3 working sets each, and watch my squat go up by 10-20 lbs/week.

This is the ****
People always complain about overtraining, but they are just a buch of pansies. I used to do a similiar workout, although not quite as intense, but I gained as much as 15 pounds a month, not using steroids or any other supplements. Training till you puke is something that only real lifters will experience. 100 sets might sounds ridiculous, but if you want huge results, you have to put in the time and give it 110%. And if you only do 12 sets a muscle, you dont know about hardcore lifting. This article kicks ass.

Until you have actually overtrained yourself, its very hard to know how much your body can take. Honestly, I think everyone needs to overtrain at least once, just to know what their body can take.

Though, I am a huge believer in not taxing yourself beyond failure. There is no reason to do 100 sets. If you can do more then say, 12 for a majoy bodypart, you are definatly not putting the intensity in that you should, or are resting way too long. More then 6 for a small one I would even say is too much, assuming you hit them with compound movements while you are working larger muscle groups.
It does make you sound more macho when you throw up after a workout, and throw words like, Freak, stone, iron, and such. These are the same kind of guys that say scientists don't know what they are talking about because they dont have freaky muscles, and only pay attention to facts, and not anecdotal evidence.

You are overtrained if you are in the hospital. Until then you lift like an animal. And if you DO actually end up in the hospital, you'll recover by the time you get out.
