I could be wrong, he might hold all his fat in his legs, but from my point of having viewed numerous bodybuilders before and after pictures, it really doesn't look like he was 255 in the first pic and 20% bodyfat. Looks more like he was 225 and maybe 11-12% b/f.

skeptics
I've been silently following Josh's blog since November. I know that he just competed at his very first bodybuilding show ever. I know what he went through to get there. Man, Josh had nothing but obstacles in his way the whole time, and the man made it through clean as a whistle. His job, the loneliness, last minute jury duty... Not only are the before and after stats on Josh real, but so is his diet, his workout and his heart.
He looked pretty clean and trim in the before pictures, so I can buy the skepticism, but man, trust me. This guy is legit. And because of his hard work it's almost a kick in the face to suggest otherwise. Dude's a nice guy and he worked like I've never seen anyone work before. His story has changed my life because I saw it happen in real time. He didn't pad the numbers and he has been natural the whole time. Believe it or not, Josh is the real deal...

I really enjoyed this article, and think it's one of the best transformation write ups yet. However, and I DON'T mean to be putting Josh down, but, am I the only one who thinks he actually looked better in the "before" picture? I mean, he looks ripped\shredded etc. in the afters, but seems to have lost quite a bit of size. Again, he looks good, I just think he looks more "built" if you will in the before.
Either way, great job all around, and congrats to him!

Yes. His size is completely possible. I agree w/a bunch of poeple that he looked damn good before the transformation. Maybe he does have a lot of fat in his legs...or his stomach. He's wearing a shirt in the other pics.
This is by far one of the best transformation articles in terms of information.

He looks very good in both pictures. It does seem he lost a great deal of muscle in able to get that lean. If his stats are correct, he lost about 25 lbs. of muscle. My diet, and supplementation, is very close to his, but I've lost four inches on my waist in the past 3 months, and increased/maintained my size everywhere else. My workouts are drastically different, though, focusing on full-body strength 3 times a week.
However, there's a big difference going from 20-14%, as I've done; to getting down to 4% bodyfat. It would be interesting to see photos from during the cut, not just before and after to understand if most of the muscle loss was near the the end.
Still, a great transformation. It takes unbelievable dedication to achieve that level of conditioning.

the only skeptical part is wheather he lost 75 pounds or not. I don't see 75 pounds of disposable fat and water on him in the b4 pics.

thanks!
Guys thanks for the replies!
Just to answer some of your questions. In the before pictures, those were actually taken in late November about 3 weeks into my diet, so i had already lost the inital water weight which was 10-15lbs so that may be why you are thinking i do not look like i was 255lbs. Either way i am not trying to lie about anything in the article...there's no reason to lie at all.
Also, yes i hold a LOT of weight in my stomach and lower back so it may again be the reason why the numbers appear skewed.
Thanks to everyone or the support, it's been a great week and i've enjoyed the experience and if there is anything i can do to help anyone feel free to let me know.
Thanks again,
-Josh

Great job buddy!
Josh's stats are all real and legit. I competed with him last weekend and he looked great. He had one of the best conditioned bodies in the show. He rocked the house and looked pretty damn good doing it. We are all proud of you, Josh, and we know what it took you to get there. Let any negatives comments roll off your back! You are the MAN!

Digitally enhanced? That is crap. If you really knew Josh and what he is going through right now, you wouldn't post this garbage. You are nothing but lying SCUM!

Nice transformation, but if you are 20%+ in the before then your muscles must have been interlaced with more fat marbeling than a prime cut of the finest kobe beef because i'm not seeing it.
