Reminds me of what Arnold Schwarzenegger had to say in Encyclopedia of Modern Bodybuilding about using a wider grip, etc. Good information though.

what warmup scheme do you reccomend for the 3 sets of 5 routine? And will once a week suffice?

I do 4 warm-up sets. If I was going to use 315 lbs, I would do:
Bar X 10
135 X 8
225 X 6
275 X 2
Then go into my 315 sets.

Once a week will deliver results, but I think hitting a muscle twice a week is superior.

Looks like a good routine

Thanks Derek, it looks pretty similar to what I'm trying on my chest right now. I got the main ideas from Milos' chest training in one of the earlier fit show episodes. If you guys need to see the principles laid out by Derek in action, watch that show (it's in the archives). When I tried for the first time what Milos recommended, my pecs were sore for fully five days. :-)

U are right

I couldnt agree more with u on that wide bench build so much better than dumbells, often guys that use dumbells are those with great arms since its needed for stabillity, and if u dont have that other parts as shoulders & triceps will take over.
