Dr. David Ryan - Creatine - It's All About Absorption!

The trick with any supplementation is to allow for maximum absorption, which is why the general rule is that the lightest molecular weight will usually get absorbed the best. Here I am going to talk about creatine absorption and studies relating to it.

points of interest

i have to agree with the other replies, it was obvious info.

i do have a quibble about the article.
this "doctor" writes that the statement "creatine is an amino acid only". there are only 20 amino acids and not one of them is creatine, this is such a basic point that this doctor got wrong. creatine is actually composed of 3 amino acids (arginine, glycine, and methionine). and he then says that it is a protein... which is it? an amino acid or a protein?? it's neither. it's a molecule, not an amino acid (3 aa's) and not a protein (not nearly big enough). i wonder about his credentials

Thumbs up Thank you!

Finally, ana article on some of the BAD sides of creatine. Thanks! Creatine is horrible to take excess amounts of. I hate people you argue that point. Some dumbasses at the gym swear on it, and that it's safe! But most supplements in general are not FDA approved, which should warn most people. Sure, no one has proven 100% that it's bad or good yet...but people also thought steroids were okay to take for decades till they realized steroids f*ck up your body and could even kill you. I know several people who have gotten really sick from taking too much creatine.
