i think the article is crap. yes u cant spend hours in the gym. but you also cant just do 9 sets for you chest like your saying. and def not 9 sets for the back. those are two big muscle your not gonna burn out also the muscle fibers in nine sets. you dont get big by doing a quicky workout then leacen. you gotta be a animal and kick your ass , and then go home and eat till you fell like puking.

actually 9 working sets is more than enough.

Telling Layne. I do 6-9 sets per bodypart. Nine is the maximum I would use and that is for back, legs, and chest. I have been using 8 sets on those muscle groups with great success.

str8 maybe that works for you, but not for me. hey i think ive got pretty damn good result since in 8 month ive gained 30 pounds to my weight which is mostly muscle. that with no drugs. ive also gain more then 120 pounds on my bench . ill let u know if i rech my goal of benching 300 pounds by football season then we can talk to see if my chest work out isnt affective or not.

Need I say more. at this age, anything you do will produce results. And the fact that you are going through natural maturation it is hard, if not impossible to distiguish if the results are from your training, or just from puberty itself.
And lets not for get that during the intinal months of training, strength gains are due to nueral adaptations, not increases in muscle mass.

Yea, I wish I knew some of the stuff now that I didn't know in highschool and maybe I wouldn't resemble a lightbulb, but I'm working on it.
