After reading this it sounds like I have tendonosis (even though my doc said patella tendonitis). I have had this injury since november and thought it was nothing and kept working through it. Finally, after going to the doc I decided to take time off and so far it has been 6 weeks w/ no quad training. Is physical therapy really even worth it in this situation? The injury has gotten better w/ time off but after reading this article it sounds like completely shutting down isnt the best way to go. The only problem is I never experience pain... It's more of a stiff or tight feeling and I feel that when sitting down...I also feel the stiffness when accending on body squats. On a scale of 1-10 for pain (if you even want to call it that) I would probably rate it a 2. Any ideas guys/advice would be greatly appreaciated guys, this injury is killing me....

my pain in the forearms
well i lifted for about seven years and my arms felt great i felt powerful, but a year ago i was doing my rutine and all of a sudden this pain came over me like 'WOW" it felt like someone had stabbed me in the arms and man did it hurt. I stopped for a little while, i figured it may go away in a couple of months but i was wrong.I dont know if it will take longer to heal but i wish it would hurry because it was my dream to be a bodybuilder and if i get a second chance i will do it right like i was born to do it.I love lifting but i told myself that if i could do it again i would just do pushups they dont hurt the way weights do and you can take them anywhere. So doc i was just wondering what could i do to keep my mind off weights for a while and keep it to where i can get my tends to heal back the way they used to be.Do you have any solutions to what i can take to heal them again, im desperate.

in the same boat, got diagnosed wrong and now ive been outta the gym for 8 months, starting to get back now with this helpfull link. Things that ive found that work to ease some pain is using a heating pad alot before/after working out or physical activity, msm took some pain away, and im waiting on glucosomine. all i want to do is get back to big lifting.

DR. Ryan's Attitude
This is a warning to anyone who is thinking about asking Dr. Ryan any personal advice-
I emailed him a question I had about tendonitis, and I recieved one of the rudest responses I have ever heard! First, he makes fun of my enthicity, being Canadian, and then he goes on to say that I should go back and read his article twice more to see if I could understand it properly. Completely insulting! The very first line of his response was;(Quote) "move to America where we have real healthcare!" It sounds to me like he has taken one too many roid shots in the ass- what a grump!
