Thumbs up

Incredible shape for a man his age. I would have figured that he is just about at the time where nothing can slow down the aging process, but looks like he proves that wrong.

Dumpy Old Fart

John Pasco's story is great. I too wished for the strength and physiqe to stand up too the bullies when I was in school and the army did get me through my first mile run in 6:34, shipped me to Vietnam as an infantryman and compelled me to keep in good physical shape with daily calesthetics.

Retirement made me sedentary and depressed and it began to take all the strength I could muster just to get out of a chair. I began river rafting, kayaking and rowing my drift boat. The exercise was great and I felt better.

I began serious weight training at the end of this summer. By the end of September I had progressed from bench pressing 120 lbs to 180 lbs and expect to hit 200 lbs in two weeks. I am 58 years old.

Hell I'm almost as young as John Pasco now.
