Fawnia Mondey - Cheat Days

Fawnia Mondey is back with an article on cheat days. Are they neccesary or are they just something we use as an excuse! You can see Fawnia in the September issue of Flex magazine! What do you think of cheat days?

Unhappy

With the present obesity epedemic in this country, somethin tells me that the whole "eat junk to crank your metabolism" is a bunch of hog wash. Eating 1 meal a week that is high in calories won't make you fat, but that doesn't mean your body some how is burning off calories it doesn't need to. If you were to do this every day to "Jack up your metabolism" something tells me, that you find out just how much of those calories you AREN'T burning off.

I'm not disagreeing with you Eric but have you ever read about controlled refeeds or leptin? If not I urge you to read Par Deus' articles on www.mindandmuscle.net look through the past issues, there are 3 parts right now (he is working on the forth) but it is very interesting.
Peace
